Does the Speck Candycase fit on the iphone with the InvisibleShield thingy?
I've already tried a case and had to send it back because it doesn't 'slide' on with the IS.

TIA

http://www.gordysgadgets.com/INCIPIO-FEATHER-CASES_c_164.html

this is not spam.. as i do not own this site just trying to provide some savings. when i post my pictures/review ill include the discount code.

Do you have one of the new coloured ones, or an old colour one as there seems to be some quality issues between the two 'series'

Thanks

Rachelle-x

The new batwing black. There is definitely some quality issues with the candyshell.

discount code coming soon! just emailed the reseller!

My Incipio Feather was great, until I took it off one day and saw how it decimated my left bezel, dirt must get in through the volume rocker/silent switch hole. I got a Speck CandyShell today, and I love it so far, it is a really tight fitting case with rubber on the inside and a hard shell on the outside, and no gaping holes for dirt to get in.

discount code for 10% off + free shipping @ gordys gadget's

alright, here i am with the discount code for incipio feather's

again this is not spam, nor will you get any spam emails from ordering from this seller.

you will need to do exactly as i outline or the discount will not work.

go to http://www.gordysgadgets.com/register.asp?catalogid=294

register for a account on his website, under account type make sure you select: iSkin Gadget Members

if you dont do this the 10% off coupon will not work.

once you regged on the site as a member you can use discount code "twins" for 10% off you can use it on the original colors and even the new limited edition colors it applies to maximum 2 per order and you will also get FREE shipping for a limited time.

i do not own this website or have any kickbacks from it, i purchased 2 from him, talked to the owner on the phone for well over a hour shipping was quick he was very helpful and i asked about a possible discount for my friends at macrumors so he said sure.

if the discount code doesnt work please let me know and i will get in touch with him :)

i LOVE the neon blue case! :):):):cool::cool:

P.S. gordys gadgets is also on ebay, he has a store on their if you'd like to check his feedback.

everyone knows you have to clean your phone with the incipio feather once a day...it's super easy to take off (unlike the candyshell) and weighs a lot less...I'
ve had both..the candyshell is prob the 2nd best case I've had

Thing is, I did take it off once a day and cleaned it off. I never noticed it until one time when I did it right under a lamp.

OK, I find myself surrounded by iPhone case experts, so hopefully someone can make a recommendation for me!

I have the first generation Touch, and the case I have on that one is the Griffin Elan Form leather, which I love. However, I'm having a REAL hard time finding something similar for my iPhone 3GS.

So my ideal requirements are:

- Leather (synthetic or real, don't care) or very similar texture. Something sticky enough to hold onto, but won't collect lint or get stick in my pocket like a rubberized case.
- 2-peice snap together would be ideal
- Not bulky
- Don't care about docking it

Any recommendations? Thanks!

I would go with the Case-Mate cases, they make nice leather cases all in different shapes and sizes.

That Elan Form is JUNK IMO.

I use a CrystalSlip from boxwave.com on my iPod Touch 2G. I love the design on the back. I use it with a screen protector as well, and so far no scratches. I've dropped my touch a couple times too and case never falls off!

They've got different colors too.

Stay away from Vaja these days

Just in case you were thinking about it, stay away from Vaja cases. I had one for my original iPhone and loved it! It was great and I showed it proudly to people. I bought a new one for my 3GS and, within a month it is showing considerable wear on it and much of the black leather is turning gray.

I contacted Vaja about the situation, because I assumed I had just gotten a bad lot, and they said it was my fault and I rubbed it against a rough surface or scraped it with an object. I treated this case, exactly the same way I treated the other one and it looks awful. The worst this case has ever gone through was being put in my pocket with nothing else in it. I took very good care of both of my Vaja cases, because I paid so much for them, and this one blows.

Vaja is making crappy products now and giving terrible customer service.

Thanks for the tip - got the CaseMate Signature leather one & I have to say it's pretty nice - WAY better than the Contour Showcase I had. Still love the Elan Form, too ;-)

Yeah, I find myself always going back to the Case-Mate, its so nice in the hand. Bulky, yes - but very nice to touch!

I just thought I'd update....

I'm still using an iFrogz Luxe that I got just after launch weekend, and my iPhone still looks brand new. No scratches anywhere.

Now this case looks promising: Tech21 iBand

I can't believe he threw his iPod Touch against the wall and off the balcony like that!
