I'm loving my Lifeproof nüüd. For the first time, I don't want to take my phone out of its case.

Going to home to my Speck Smart Flex Wallet Case in my mailbox today. Tired of carrying a wallet daily considering I only need my drivers license, debit card, work ID, and transit card daily.

wtf, are you a bomb disposal expert? Or some sort of super hero?

What warrants a case like that??

LOLLLLL :D
u shud have seen some of the reactions ive got from my colleagues at work. hilarious! hehehe... its a good change, just temporary. :p
all in good fun!

I got this grey case forest green flip case from my friend as a Christmas gift :) Now I have 2 cases and no more

I still have my iP4 and getting a 5 when the new ones comes out. But for now, I wish these were available for iP4...I like the iP4 naked when using it and just need a simple case like this when I slip it in a bag or even my jacket breast pocket at work.... very nice.

Magpul.

Cheap, well built, looks manly and made in the usa

Love the Magpul case for a protective but low profile case... used to use it before my company started manufacturing our own solid wood iPhone cases (which of course if what I use now).

If you decide to go for something "unique" and made in the USA - check us out @ www.timberfly.com . You can see a blog post about us here for a review: http://www.goodbullhunting.com/2013/8/22/4648192/wood-iphone-5-case-timberfly-custom-gbh

Good luck finding your case!

Your cases sure looks interesting. however from the pictures it looks like the camera cutouts are off alignment. :)

My opinion and the general web/ amazon reviews for the best slim but still protective cases for the iPhone 5 are:

Switcheasy Tones (black or purple )
Poetic Atmosphere (black/clear)
Belkin Grip Candy Sheer

In no particular order. These cases protect all edges and sides, back and have good lay on the table/ protective lip. The darker colors in TPU don't get as dirty looking over time.

The poetic is translucent showing the phone off. The poetic and sheer have rounded edges. The Tones has 90 degree edges and a good grippy sandblasted back/sides that shows no scratches. Tones comes with port covers and screen protectors, the others just the case.

I use all three. All three about the same size: Poetic slightly smaller, Belkin slightly bigger than Tones. I do mean very slightly. Button response is best on the Poetic, however all three are fine.

I'm looking to get a new case. Love my Belkin Candy Grip (all black), but it's a bit boring to me. Does the Tones feel smaller/thinner? I like how it looks like the lip doesn't cover the edges of the screen as much as the Grip Candy does.

I was looking to get the most thinnest case possible but that covers all sides, but it seems to be pretty elusive. The Power Support air jacket comes close but people have said it has scratched the chamfered edges. The Desmay Slight seems to fit the bill but they seem to have a bad rep around here.

Yea the Tones is less wide and feels/ looks slimmer too. The lip design is protective and covers less of the front- a positive feature.

The black is more grey. The purple looks very good on a white iphone. The blue is nice too.

I also like the slim bumper by Spigen. Neo Hybrid EX slim in metal slate.

Switched back to my Caudabe Veil recently and loving it. I haven't had the urge to buy a new case for a long time. It basically keeps my phone in like-naked condition, so why case up such a beautiful phone?

Love my tones. I even modified it by making the bottom bigger so I can fit the lightning to 30pin adapter. Its slim and gives full protection. Has survived a couple of drops from kid and always retains the same feel as the first day you had it.

would you suggest blue or black for black iphone?

I have both for my black iPhone 5. But I find myself using the black Tones 90% of the time. I'm a guy though.

Be certain to follow the Tines instructions for inserting and removing the case. Most of the YouTube videos are wrong.

The black Tones is not a deep black but more light grey. It is fine. I did, later, use RIT dye to make the top and bottom TPU a deep charcoal. I posted a thread some where.

Tones is a very durable case. No scratches after nearly a year of use.

Thanks,
Is the plastic back slipper or feel cheap in anyway? I'm used to grippy TPU
