Hahaha, I was meta'd into an ironic singularity

Lamborghini are debuting an SUV soon. Think I read Ferrari are, too. When I see someone blow by my Fiesta in a Huracán, I cheer and bask in secondhand glory. When I see someone do the same in a Cayenne Turbo, I mutter darkly about wealth inequality, think about the latest tax bill in Congress, and hope to see it in a ditch a few miles down the road.

Is that from that show you like and post about often? I Googled it out one time and there's a character that's also your avatar.
Yeah, that's from Rick and Morty. It's an amazing show. Seasons 1,2 are on HuluIs that from that show you like and post about often? I Googled it out one time and there's a character that's also your avatar.
I watched some clips of it, but didn't really like it. I don't have Hulu. The closest show I've seen to it in terms of theme was maybe the first season of Futurearma. The concept of it reminded me of this movie from 88 or 93 that had Stallone in it back from the frozen dead.Yeah, that's from Rick and Morty. It's an amazing show. Seasons 1,2 are on Hulu

Add Archer to that. I'll enjoy the odd episode here and there, but it isn't something I can sit through. Shows are subjective. The Veep show won an Emmy or whatever it is for television shows, and I watched an entire season and didn't enjoy it at all. Now, see, I don't like the whole superhero or comic theme going on for the past decade, but I really enjoy watching Gotham when I can remember to DVR an episode or watch reruns. We're watching Futurama right _now_, it's a fan favorite around here
I'll admit that R&M is not for everyone.
Doing a GT350 style rear decklid
Subarus are terrible. It's likeNever understood why some companies still rely on mounting holes and not strong glues with set valleys for the emblems. That said, I like badge delete options/deleted emblems aside from the marque. It's cleaner, obviously. It wasn't until one of those Dan DeMuro videos when I began noticing the excessive branding on all cars. A minority of people would argue that you're paying to advertise cars.
I'll be honest. I rarely see them on the road. The only time I ever see one it seems it's one of those Imprezas, usually driven by some yokel who thinks the archaic engine in the car is worth the money. As for Audi, they've been doing that for as long as I can remember. I remember a neighbor who owned either an Audi 100 or an 80, and recall the engine type on the back. I think it's just one of those things Audi's done to let people know what's under the hood. Up until maybe 10 years ago, you could tell the engine size going by the numbers on the back of a BMW or MBZ.Subarus are terrible. It's like
Subaru Forester
AWD PZEV
That's like 40 letters on the back of your car. Enough already.
Even my A4. I don't need "2.0T quattro" on the back of it. It's an A4. It has one engine option.

I've seen a few new B9s so far. For the most part, the typical German vehicle consumer had either went with BMW or MBZ here because they simply offered more, and it's not like Audi had a good reputation up until a handful of years ago. I suspect I'm going to see the new A7 and A8 (A7 debuts next year) more and more. Audi posted a video of their upcoming A8 recently and it showed some of the safety and convenience features. Cool stuff. It's definitely an attack on BMW and MBZ which have went down the road of frivolity. In the case of the new MBZ vehicles, the concept of having a god damned discotheque in my car isn't cool and isn't something I give a flying squirrel about. I want near total darkness in the vehicle. Good cluster/screen lighting, but my focus is on the road. There's no point in that stuff. The A8's new side impact measures? I like that. It makes sense. Where the S class tech trickled down to lowly cars, I feel this upcoming generation of A8 will trickle down safety features.
Either way, today's lowly vehicles are getting faster and faster. This is the best time in history (at least in my lifetime) where a 200 HP economy car can outpace a 300 HP vehicle from 2000. Better interiors to boot. Midsize sedans are stupid fast, as well.
You don't live in Subaru country though up here they're everywhere they almost equal the number of 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks.
Subarus only get respect from people who think $30,000 is still a lot of money. For those of us in that boat, Subies are usually the best option if you are looking for AWD in a NEW car that isn't a crossover. People with money turn their noses up at Subarus because there are lots of fancier AWD options from Europe these days. But nearly all (apart from VW) are going to start well north of $30k.
I live in a very cold, snowy rural area and Subarus are quite popular - and apart from the well-known head gasket issues on some of the 2.5L motors, they are quite reliable as well. The new Impreza 2 liters can get decent fuel economy on 87 octane as well.
You're probably right
I like them because they hold their value, are dependable, and stay true to their heritage I think it's cool to be idiosyncratic.
They are becoming less different these days, but the Impreza is a very versatile car, and good value in all its guises (sedan wagon, CrossTek, WRX).
But they're still a bit ugly and have the flat four and some models are CVT only
They've never been pretty, to be sure. Nothing wrong with horizontally opposed engines though - Porsche people go crazy about 'em, Ferrari has dabbled. The flat engine allows for nice, low hood lines (especially on the Legacy).
I've driven a CVT-equipped Forester and while it is not a driver's car, it's no worse in my book than an automatic.
In my book, there are two types of transmission: the manual, and everything else.
Went to my Ford dealer to test drive the new 18 Mustang GT's. (Slightly unimpressed with the power by the way.)
But this Ford GT was sitting in the showroom. Hard to believe this is powered by a 3.5 Twin Turbo V6, similarly used in the SHO, but this is highly tuned and engineered on another level. I want to drive one badly.
I've seen a total of one in the wild on the road. Probably the only one I'll ever see in the wild. I never saw the second incarnation of the GT.
