Best in class interiors!Nice job!
The S5/6 are good blends of performance, style and luxury. Audi interiors are really fantastic.
However, Mercedes-Benz has been making tremendous strides recently. The newest generation of MBs are just beautiful!

Ooh cars. My recent hobbybecoming a real addict.
Got this S5 recently and now made it into a wolf in sheep clothing
A Merc is a pile of garbage ask any mechanic or owner, a Land Rover is a pile of garbage as A.Goldburg, A saturn is garbage a Daewoo is a car just like a Honda or a Kia
A Merc is a pile of garbage? You really don't know anything about cars, do you?

A $85k Merc will lose $60.2K in value in under 10 years. They cost a fortune to fix and have computer driving every single part of the car all of which fail and cost THOUSANDS to replace.A Merc is a pile of garbage? You really don't know anything about cars, do you?
Appearance wise they are amazing, electronically and mechanically, however,..... total garbage
Look at that garbage interior ;-)
Can't believe you posted up that POS! It doesn't compare to a Daewoo at all! Blasphemy!

I agree. The tacked on iPad tablet thing isn't the greatest. They should integrate the screen, like they do for the S Class coupe and sedan.I think the only thing that could use some work right now is how they integrate the screens. Although I have gotten use to seeing them that way so it has grown on me a bit. Other than that they look great.
They are a feat of engineering. Just because joe mechanic can't fix it, doesn't make it garbageA $85k Merc will lose $60.2K in value in under 10 years. They cost a fortune to fix and have computer driving every single part of the car all of which fail and cost THOUSANDS to replace.

What car doesn't lose almost all of its value in 10 years?A $85k Merc will lose $60.2K in value in under 10 years. They cost a fortune to fix and have computer driving every single part of the car all of which fail and cost THOUSANDS to replace.
I should rephrase. Not garbage. Just Money Pits after only 8 years they throw 25+ DLC codesThey are a feat of engineering. Just because joe mechanic can't fix it, doesn't make it garbage
Every car loses most of it's value in ten years.
Proof??Edit: each computer is over $1700 and ONE shock on the car is over ONE THOUSAND dollars! and takes 2.5 hrs to change ONE. 5 hrs to change 2
That's tough, man. I'm glad everyone is okay. Car did its job, which is the most important thing.I hesitated to post this here, but thought I would anyway.
I've mentioned several times that my mom bought a new 2014 LaCrosse back in February. She's loved it, although so far has only managed to put a little over 3000 miles on it.
Last Wednesday, she and my dad were out on the road and had a cargo van run a red light and plow into them. Fortunately, they were both fine, although my mom is nearly sick over the car.
The airbags didn't deploy, although it messed up the driver side front quarter pretty badly and looks to have broken the front drive shaft and likely some other front suspension parts. As is probably plenty obvious from the photos, the car was undriveable.
Here's a not-so-great picture. The body shop was closed today when I stopped by to look, so this was taken through the chain link fence at the back.

I'm glad everyone is okay.
Yep, that's by far the most important takeaway.
Just tell your Mom that will totally buff out

I don't think so, but they're waiting on an adjuster.Glad to hear your family is ok.
Totaled?
Highly doubt it's totaled, but there are a lot of things to consider.I don't think so, but they're waiting on an adjuster.
Why do you want to blind oncoming drivers?can any of you tell me the Lumans of a 34 Watt halogen fog light bulb is vs a 50W 750LM LED fog light bulb? From what I have read its rather easy to convert the standard 34 watt (useless) fog light bulbs to vary powerful and bright 50W Bulbs by putting in a 15A fuse into the circuit and snipping the ground wire and put it to chassis ground so the bulbs don't case the high beams to dim.
EDIT: CORRECTION, 7W 750LM LED BULB VS 34W HALOGEN BULB
