iPhone: do you use a case?

I've dropped too many cell phones, and my iPod, over the years. So I did buy a case before leaving the store with my iPhone (8g). It's from Contour and called the iSee. It's clearer than the pic shows. Exactly like the Agent18 case I have for my iPod (that I scratched within minutes of it's being out of the box.....hence the case purchase). It *does* feel better in my hand naked :) but I don't think I'll be going anywhere without it in it's case.....

yea i still can't find a good case. Sorry i'm really picky i want it to be perfect and i'm now toying with the idea of making my own.

Cased. Not naked.

That is false...This phone was not in a case but charging either on the guys computer or wall unit....He got a call and grab the phone quickly...Since the phone was still attached to the cord it snag and slammed back into the corner of a table....FYI Apple replaced it for free sinced happend in 24 hrs and customer complained about the length of the charging cord

I got this case as well....VERY nice quality. I like that you can unscrew the swivel and the case is flush. Highly recommended!

I would say the exact same thing. Very well made case. It also doesn't hide too much of the iPhone's beautiful design.

EDIT - just one thing to note, that the iPhone does not fit in the dock with the case on. I doubt any case will allow for this to happen, though. It is very easy to slide this case on and off, and will never leave any scratches or other marks if you quickly yank the iPhone out of the case.

You really don't need the Dock...

I just use the cord without the dock. I've got my iPhone in the clear case by Belkin, and I agree with the earlier poster about drops... I've nearly killed plenty of phones and there is no way I'm not keeping this one in a case. Most of the 'all around' cases that I saw had a hole in the bottom allowing you to keep the iPhone encased and still charge/sync.

/NOT sent from my iPhone!

Could potentially get scratches on the top bezel though...That area is not covered

I'm going to pick up a case - but the in-case website said "not available"

I have insurance on this phone, so for me, it's the grip factor -- being naked this phone is slicker than teflon, wearing clothes doesn't seem to much help either.

The hunt begins tomorrow.

As a side note: Any other VW owners here notice that the passenger seat is a ski-jump for any and all sensitive electronics? If it's cheap it stays put, costs more than 100 bones, well, have fun on the first corner you take.

For $10 more you can get the top half too. :D I actually bought this case and love it. It's available at ATT stores.

i tried to put my iphone in that case at the at&t store and it was tough to get in and then i took it out and i had scratches along the sides of the phone from the case. Luckily i had a screen protector on and the scratches along the side of the screen didn't affect it. Stay away from this case.

I'm not a moderator, so I can't do it myself, but can we PLEASE keep the quoted images OUT of our posts. That would ROCK.

i have it too and i don't like it very much either... but then i like it the most out of the ones that are out

careful with that case, iPhone seems pretty lose in that case... I thought it was horrible.
