I would assume that all the links with visible pins are removable. I went ahead and ordered one of these, although I discovered a few minutes too late that other sellers have them cheaper. Still, it's less than Apple is charging for a sport band.

I'm glad you said that! I went in for $35

I bit the bullet and ordered the Hoco stainless steel band. I should be getting it in a couple weeks.

The adapter and strap you see in the photo is meant for my 42mm SGS, the 38mm watch case you see in the photo belongs to my wife! I'm still waiting for my watch which is due end May

Edit: I could fit a 24mm leather strap on my 42mm adapter, if your watch is the 38mm one ,I guess it won't fit.

Ah, gotcha. And it's hard to tell from the picture -- does the adapter have a matte or glossy finish? I'm trying to find something that will match my Sport.

New to the Mac forums - thanks to the apple watch! Looking to get my own strap very soon for my 42mm Space Gray Sport.

Anyone see these from a company called Horus on Instagram?

So no one has seen a space grey adapter aluminum or SS that would match the space grey watch? Is it difficult to make?

I have the Aerb adapter. Looking at the Pebble band I don't think you'd be able to make it work. You might be able to get the band on the adapter with the help of some pliers if you wanted to permanently attach it to the adapter, but I'm not sure how well it'd hold up.

EDIT: Actually, I wasn't looking at it right. I think you'd be fine.

Has anyone found any adapters with a matte finish for the Sport watches?

The Chinese are working on it and since it is one additional complexity layer, they only started producing them.

My mother and me will test making them mate on Monday, I'll post a pic.

Since it is metal, you need a special mix of different metals when you melt it. It's a little more tricky than just normal steel ...
But: the Chinese will send them in one week an you can order today :D (shameless plug) at our etsy shop:

They are awesome and pricy: around 550 for a handmade band ...

I thin iwill combine this band

with my apple watch. Looks almost like the original linkband

The width of this band is 22mm.
The width of the adapter for the 38mm is 22,8mm and for the 42mm is 25,6mm – so it probably only works with the smaller watch ...

Has anyone seen a third party link bracelet yet that does not connect to the watch in the same way as the classic buckle? I want it to attach the same way as Apples link bracelet, sports band etc.

I'm getting the adapter on Tuesday. I'll report back on if it works!

There are many places to buy 22 mm bands. I have purchased several silicone ones. Not a big fan of leather.

I have a sweet looking shark mesh metal one coming. Will post pics when I get it. http://www.strapcode.com/store/21mm...eployant-strap-brush-p-2535.html#.VU5kq5PNt1I

I purchased adapters on Ebay. If you can find a band with an adapter included or an adapter alone under $20, that is a good deal. I am too impatient to wait weeks for something to come from China, but that would be cheaper.

All I need is just a sport product RED band. I do not care how much Apple wants to charge. Even if they said it is a special edition for AIDS foundation, I would pay for the premium.
