Can you confirm if the Aerb adapter is stainless steel or what material?

I have the Aerb adapter. Looking at the Pebble band I don't think you'd be able to make it work. You might be able to get the band on the adapter with the help of some pliers if you wanted to permanently attach it to the adapter, but I'm not sure how well it'd hold up.

EDIT: Actually, I wasn't looking at it right. I think you'd be fine.

I think 24mm bands will end up looking best with the aerb adapter. I have a mix of nato canvas straps coming in, I'll post my results.

I cancelled my Amazon order from "My Cell" Shipping is taking way too long. However I did contact AERB via amazon and asked for a free sample. I told them I would give them honest feedback in a review in exchange for a sample...i also do a small tech segment on my friends podcast so i told them i would mention it to them...Needless to say it will arrive tomorrow. I also have a black sport band i got off of ebay. Its coming from China so it will take a while.

I also backed click..but that wont be here for a while. I have a 42mm Silver sport..so we shall see how the adapters look..

Are Click the only viable option for Aluminium-adapters?

Right now yes, there are a few companies working on something but nothing besides click right now.

we probably need to give it 2-4 weeks before there will be good space grey matching adapters. With such a slow roll out by apple, who really cares. Most have to wait for the watches anyways.

Yes, it's stainless steel. I've heard others say it looks slightly different than the finish on the SS watch, but I can't confirm since I'm using it with a silver sport watch. It seems fairly high quality though and I easily swapped in a 22mm leather strap that fits perfectly.

The Chinese are working on it and since it is one additional complexity layer, they only started producing them.

My mother and me will test making them mate on Monday, I'll post a pic.

Since it is metal, you need a special mix of different metals when you melt it. It's a little more tricky than just normal steel ...
But: the Chinese will send them in one week an you can order today :D (shameless plug) at our etsy shop:

I've looked at your Etsy shop for the lugs, but shipping absolutely kills the deal.

So any or a 22mm band the best fit for the 42mm watch?

Yes, 22 mm bands work well with an adapter or if you already have the Apple band that includes an adapter on a 42 mm watch.

Just be sure the end of the band is flat. Some come curved or with a different end. You want a 22 mm flat end.

There are many sites on the web, Amazon has plenty, as does eBay. Strapcode is a good web site.

Agreed. It shouldn't cost over $20 to ship tiny lugs to Canada from anywhere.

Should be able to ship it in a small letter envelope even for next to nothing.

Has anyone seen any good third party alternatives for Apple's blue leather loop? In particular one that imitates the magnetic closure? I really like the band but I feel a little silly spending $150 for what would be my third band.

I'm waiting on official lugs from Apple, no point using cheap parts with an expensive watch. If a cheap lug fails, sending your watch crashing to its doom, you are on your own.

Seller also does sports bands: http://ebay.eu/1IuPWXZ

I just used paypal, and AMEX to pay so if they're sucky i'll get a refund pretty quickly

This leather loop looks nice. I was very disappointed that the leather loop was never available in any color for the 38mm watch. Maybe this is the way to go.

I found this on the Chinese website but too much for a knock off so I didn't go for it. http://m.intl.taobao.com/detail/detail.html?spm=a1z5f.7632060.0.0&id=44823356354
