Oh well. I'd rather not worry about it now and just wait to see what I get in the package and keep my fingers crossed. Will post reports once I receive the package hopefully later this week! :)

Update: I asked Tonsee (the store) to ship it out on priority but they quoted me a time of 30-35 days from Hong Kong (origin) to India (where I stay). Disappointed to hear this, I asked them to ship via UPS or Fedex and quote me the additional amount for me to make a decision.

I also asked about the adapter and expect to hear back from them soon.

I just bought one of the Orange sport bands. Delivery showing from 5/23-6/8 lol. Let's hope it's not too long, but either way it's not a big deal.

Please let us know how the quality is! I'm waiting to hear back on which of the two pink bands is rose and pink...I know it won't be great but I'd love a non-salmon pink band until they release better ones (especially for $8)

I also ordered orange and a red one, the 2 colors I was hoping someone would put out.

The only thing that I worry about with these is there doesn't seem to be a connector on them in the "real" pictures. Do they just slide into the watch?

A little sketchy to me...

They go onto the watch with adapters, like a normal watchband

Is anyone working a bracelet-band that completely encloses the watch? A band of this sort would need a slide (or a pop top) that can expose the face but otherwise would appear to be a bracelet.
A company that jumps on this idea would profit as many would buy bands to match attire and occasion - gold, silver, mixed-metal, ceramic, rubber...

eBay has them, it looks like a sport strap but encases the watch case.

If that's what you mean.

I got this. Yes it comes with the adaptor. The band it comes with is crap - too skinny and made me itch.
After 3 days now the adaptor mechanism still kicking.

How did you or anyone with the AERB strap take off the original one and use your own strap. Did you use a screwdriver and if so, which one?

Edit - serves me right for not checking out the whole box.

If you are getting a nice leather band and want to take it to the next level, definitely look into getting a deployment clasp.

Having owned some nice watches over the years, it's tough finding a good aftermarket deployment clasp (I'm looking at you alibaba). A lot of watch guys out there like RHD deployment clasps, they are really affordable and also very high quality. Bob Davis is also awesome to work with.

Altogether, a really nice Hirsch, Di-Modell or Fluco calf or alligator band AND a deployment clasp will cost you ALOT less than the $150 classic buckle, and you'll literally be wearing some of the best quality leather out there in terms of watch straps. For around $100 you could have a super high quality leather band (think really high end watches like Panerai or Breitling) and a solid deployment clasp.

RHD Deployment Clasps: http://www.mywatchmaker.net/deployantclasp.htm

Some bands I trying to decide between:

http://www.holbensfinewatchbands.com/hirsch-terra-brown/ (little worried about the 5mm at the lug)
http://www.holbensfinewatchbands.com/fluco-horween-shell-cordovan-brown/
http://www.holbensfinewatchbands.com/hirsch-buffalo-brown/

Thanks for posting this! I think I'm going to return my link bracelet and just get a sport band. The link bracelet is ripping out arm hair like mad. I'll invest the funds into some nice waterproof leather bands instead. I've got my eye on this one or one with some more colorful stitching if I can find it.

I bought the same one, only brown. The adapters are ok but the one seems uneven and don't sit in the watch flush. I'm a little nervous they give out. Hopefully the click adapter is engineered a little more precise.
