On the move
Is anyone working a bracelet-band that completely encloses the watch? A band of this sort would need a slide (or a pop top) that can expose the face but otherwise would appear to be a bracelet.
A company that jumps on this idea would profit as many would buy bands to match attire and occasion - gold, silver, mixed-metal, ceramic, rubber...

Just found this on Amazon. Not sure if this is what you were referring to, but it does eliminate the need for an adapter...

I'm not going to lie, most of these bands are not that nice looking (minus the bright blue one). I guess apple knew what they were doing with the bands they made. Hopefully we can get some better quality ones. I want a tan leather one.

Nato watch straps

I know using these will prevent the sensors from working. Honestly, I don't really care. Here are some photos :D

What about your monowear band? Do you like the look of the HOCO better?

I like the Monowear band, but I also ordered the HOCO. They have different links and adapters. When the HOCO gets here, I'll do a comparison between the two.

Anyone can please give me a link to a good adapter?
With or without a band

This guy is in the US, and these look like they are matte like the aluminum sport:
Ebay Link

He also sells stainless steel and black/space gray.

I ordered from him for black 42mm ones that should be delivered Monday! So far I haven't found anyone else selling black/space gray adapters in the US.

Don't be surprised if what you get from seller is garbage. He seems like the only person selling aluminum or black lugs. I don't think those are ready for prime time yet

You really think this isn't nice looking?

Personally I like it WAY better than the Milanese loop, I hate that one side has a double layer, and the other side is single. Looks like a mistake.

Be careful buying from sellers with 0 ratings.

When you get your adapters, see if they pick up with a magnet.

The polished silver with the matt aluminum would drive me crazy. They just don't look like they go together at all.

I like the look of the finer mesh better. I don't like the clasp of that band either vs the apple one. I agree the end loop could have been made similar to the leather loop

The clasp on this amazon band, is pretty much a standard clasp. I might say it isn't as nice as the apple link band clasp, but I wouldn't say it is bad... It is just standard.

Why will they prevent the sensors from working? Looks like the watch is in decent contact with your wrist? I don't follow?

... for what reason? What would a magnetic/non-magnetic adaptor indicate?

I think that band is actually behind the watch itself. The OP could probably find a way to cut a hole in the band to allow the back of the watch to "see" their arm.

What band is this, please?

It is a band from Amazon. It is the 22mm version, but I just ordered a 24mm version. After looking at it, and measuring, I'm sure the 24 mm will fit, if anything I might have to pinch in the links ever so slightly (I actually spread them a bit on the 22 mm) Here is a link to both:
