It arrived yesterday. Was straightforward putting together. Only issue I encountered was the buckle side would slide completely through a couple times before it would latch. Checked it several times to make sure it was secure. The longer band had no issues.

The quality of the leather is as good as can be expected for $30. It's comfortable and there's enough holes, even for my fairly small wrist. Another loop would have been nice, but overall, I'm pleased.

Can't post all pics together.

That's the exact band I got yesterday from Amazon. Unfortunately one screw came loose from one of the bars. I can't even put it back together since there is no threading on the bar. I'm waiting on the seller to respond.

Other than that I think it's a great cheap alternative to Apple's.

Is it seller from Utica? I ordered from them. After 5 days of no movement I messaged and he said there were logistics issues. 2 more days I messaged again asking to cancel. Within an hour my PayPal was refunded. If it's the same seller, I hope you have better luck.

How funny. Did the seller mark your order as shipped and then nothing happened? I'm thinking of reporting this person because they seem to be doing this to everyone to maintain their top rated selling status (have to ship out in 1 business day).

I got the "logistic issues" email too and they said it should be shipped out either this past Friday (it wasn't) or tomorrow.

We shall see.

Hey guys!

I'm delighted you have all liked the band. Let me clarify for everyone how I got it done.

I purchased this band: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WOQ3BU4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

For the single and only purpose of using the adapter that came with it. The adapter is very nice but probably not as good as the ones coming up in two months or so, that will be "Made for Apple Watch" so take this early adapters for what they are. Temporary solutions.

This particular band is a Hadley Roma and I really enjoy it. I also got another Hadley that I'll try next week. And if you look back into this thread you'll see my handmade german Di-Modell band. Look for your favorite online retailer of traditional watch bands and buy the 22-23 mm ones for the 42mm watch.

DO you know what model Hadley Roma it is ? - Really liking that color a lot and looking at two close to it so want to make sure.

Anyone know where I can get a red leather loop like the one in the photo but with the connectors matching the color of a space grey Apple watch? Found this loop on eBay but I'm afraid the connectors are gonna be visible and throw off a weird color mismatch

Click has the space gray adapters. But you'd have to be patient and willing to wait, as they haven't shipped out to their kickstarted backers yet. But you could get your order in.

You really think this isn't nice looking?

Personally I like it WAY better than the Milanese loop, I hate that one side has a double layer, and the other side is single. Looks like a mistake.

Just saw this. I think the milanese loop IS odd having one side of it double and the other single. BUT this chain mesh thing with the odd looking attachment to the watch where it seems individual loops are holding it to the watch looks like a child's swingset plaything to me. Just a bit cheap looking. THE BAND looks ok, the attachment, not so much imo

I like it. I believe it's a 22mm band. I ordered a 24mm band just like it. It looks more manly to me. Just my opinion.

Pretty comfortable.

I saw that band on Amazon . Looks great.

No, it was never even marked as shipped. Others seem to be having luck with them. I think I just ordered early before they actually had the product.

I ordered a band from this same seller too and it was supposed to arrive Saturday. I'll be sending them an email today as well.

I just received my 38 MM stainless steel adapter from the eBay dude in Utica, NY. It looks nice and comes with a screwdriver. It's from Yesoo. I'm going to take this to my local jewelry store to buy a link band. I will post pics once I'm back but for 16 bucks - great deal.

Cheers,
B

Yea he emailed me last night...after no movement after a week (when i was supposed to get it) saying that "it might" ship out monday WTF? I might just call it a loss and ask for a refund. It sounds like he has no inventory.

This shop on Etsy offers SG adapters, but he's currently out of stock. Not sure when he'll get more in. He actually offers all three colors.

Looks less sketchy than most of the other sellers offering more than just the stainless steel look! I'll probably shoot him a message asking about stock because $25 isn't bad at all...I'm waiting on my watch anyways so I don't mind waiting lol

I went to the local jewelry store - he didn't have any bands in stock that would fit the adapter (small town store). He has ordered 5 different bands so we can see which one will work best. He's a stockholder for Apple so he was interested to see the watch in person. Hopefully the bands will arrive by the end of this week so I can get my new link band.

Cheers,
B

Yeah mine was supposed to arrive today. The seller marked it as shipped last Tuesday and gave me a tracking number. But has yet to drop it off at the post office. His latest message (in broken English) states that "there is some question with post office, it will definitely move on Monday. So sorry for delay time".

Needless to say, nothing has happened today.
