And where did you get those adapters from? That light brown + dark grey combo is gorgeous.

The adapters come with the Monowear bands. Great quality. Only look to fit 22mm watch straps though, can't squeeze my 24mm MVMT

I ordered the Monowear band and love that look. If you decide to return it before mine arrives (Mid-June), I'll buy it from you.

Are you UK-based? PM me

I ordered a couple MVMT straps as well, the Tan and Brown. I should be getting them on Monday.

Would be great to see some pictures. Post them up (and the adapter you're using to accommodate the 24mm strap)

Received my Rock Brand leather band with classic buckle today.

Thouroughly disappointed.

The Band is OK, but the bottom adapter is bent and does not fit the watch properly.

I've emailed the seller to see what my options are, but I will not be sending it back to china, so I guess I just lost $40.

I've never had to use buyer protection so don't know how to go about it. Don't you still have to return the faulty product? Which is a PITA, and costs money.

The seller offered me a partial refund, but I basically said it's unusable as-is, so I'm losing money either ignoring or accepting a partial refund.

I haven't ever had to leave negative feedback on eBay, so I'm awaiting what the seller may offer, other than a partial refund.

I just found a US seller selling the same Brand so hopefully I'll get the item quickly and it won't have the same defect (it was also cheaper). I read reviews of the Rock band which said it all was perfect, so I really believe I just got a faulty adapter. The rest of the band is great.

As I said open a case on eBay
In the description of the problem say it's expensive to send it back to the seller

Fits pretty good don't feel cheers

Are your adapters both snug and fitting right? i know it's a different brand, but they are probably all sourcing their adapters from the same Chinese plant this early in the game.

Probably by the time I actually get a product that is flawless (3 more bands on the way) I could have just bought one decent Apple band lol. Serves me right for cheaping out I guess.

i was thinking of ordering this one and the stainless steel band from amazon...

I like that one, too. I was thinking about ordering that one myself. Saw one on eBay for $35.14 with free shipping.

Just to add my $.02. I read a couple of weeks back that someone was returning their monowear nylon band because it was stiff. I can say yes! I received mine today and wore it for about 30 minutes before packing it back up. I could already feel where blisters would form had I left it on. So not only is it stiff, it is scratchy! The connectors were great. They locked in and felt secure. The quality of the actual band was lacking.

Haven't read anything good about Monowear bands yet other than good connectors. I think I'll scratch them off my list.

I received my stainless steel hoco band today and I must say that it is crap compared to the Apple link band I've been wearing for the past week.

The connectors don't fit snugly and also stick out a little bit. It just looks and feels like crap.

Here are some pics for reference.

The first pic is the Apple link band and the second and third pic shows how uneven the hoco is. If it didn't come from China I would send it back.

My watch, bands, and adapters all came today... Perfect timing!

I bought this adapter:
ebay adapter

And these bands:
MVMT - Tan
MVMT - Black

My thoughts: First the Adapter. I don't like the look of Apple's hook adapter, so I was happy to find the spring pin style on ebay. It fits pretty well, probably not as good as apple's own, but it is good enough. I used the pins that came with the band, since they were a little longer, I figure that is more secure. The one strange thing is that the sides are polished, but the top is brushed. It's not too noticeable, and I still think it looks good. Overall, I am pretty happy with it, but I'll probably get a new one when something better comes out down the road.

Now the bands. I have never liked the look of the 22mm bands, I think they look too small, so I was happy to find out that the MVMT bands were 24mm. I have always liked the look of the MVMT bands. These bands are great. The tan one is a little lighter than I thought it would be, but Im sure it will darken over time. They are are nice and thick, and you can tell they are good quality.

With all that space in between on the last pic, I'm concerned about the metal scratching together and leaving marks.
