Posted in the 'Show off your Watch' thread, but wanted to show off the custom band i installed today. Inspired by another member in this thread somewhere. Loving the look.

Enjoying all the leather smell. Custom Dock from Metacove still to arrive. Ebony Black.

How does the watch hold up like does the bracelet scratch the watch? I do that style too and worry that it'll scratch the space grey. Thanks

Looks great. I have one on the way for my 38mm, too. Thanks for the great photo. Might want to remove the plastic. ;)
Hey Pirate, love my Hoco. I was so excited to try it on left some plastic on there. All off now. ;-)

As an aside mine came extremely professionally packed and well protected in the plastic over wrap. Impressed they took the effort with packaging.

Enjoy your band when it comes in!

I bought one black leather band with lugs from ebay and a Black/Gray stainless steel link band from Ebay. Each for about $18.00. You definitely get what you pay for. One of my lugs won't lock and the leather band is barely long enough to fit my wrist. While the stainless steel band looks great with the spay gray watch, but the clasp is kind of janky and won't close quite right.

It makes me appreciate the higher priced bands now. Also makes me wonder why I thought an $18.00 band on a $400 watch was a good idea.

I tend to wear the braided bracelet with the metal clasp to the bottom of my wrist if that makes sense. So the metal part of the bracelet only touches the metal buckle of my band. I would never let the metal on the bracelet ever touch/brush up against the main body of the watch. Hope that makes sense.

Just took a chance and ordered this off eBay. Only U.S. based listing I could find... $11.89 shipped so it's not a ton of money but hopefully this turns out okay! Supposed to get it sometime next week so I'll try and report back then!

Doesn't look like it includes a screwdriver. Does anyone know if I can just buy any pentalobe tool and call it a day?

EDIT: Messaged seller and it turns out it includes a screwdriver!

REALLY like this band Jmona - d*amn, Really...Best Buy has these?? The one down the street from me has squat when it comes to Apple products - or anything I really need most of the time (terrible BB). I could have better luck at one about 20 miles from me. They are one of the few around here that have an Apple section. Way too many choices..and that's OK with me. :)

Thanks for the images, your reviews and posts. Enjoy !

Yeah they do here in Colorado anyway. :) I went back to buy the one pictured but it had been sold out. It retailed for about $14, but instead I got an even better deal there for only $7 and got this one instead which its really nice and is the same color exactly as the last one. The only problem is I can't try it out yet since I'm still waiting for my Click adapter to arrive.
However for the price I got a pretty kick @$$ link and its heavy and really good material and perhaps even better than others. I'm very satisfied with not having to pay $30 + for one and I got it in the spot and no wait. :D

Just came in the mail, 3rd party adapter for the 42mm watch that supports any 24mm watch pin. Too bad they only had polished SS finish and my watch is space grey... My 24mm Glossy Black SS link bracelet also just arrived so I put them together and here is my video and photos for you guys to comment. Oh, please like the video thanks!

Harvested the rubber band from one of my Michael Kors watches. Pleased. Not the end all be all, but I much prefer this over the black sport band (which is now in my gym bag). And this is a nice contract to my blue LL,

It's really nice! I guess I have to physically go inside the Best Buy store or stores and see what they have, their website shows a few watch stands, screen protector and all stores around me appear to have some $70 band that doesn't look like it show be $70 bucks.

Looks like it protects the watch (Even though I want to protect the living heck out of this, I'm a little concerned this cover may actually scratch the SG aluminum finish?), the band..eh. But $70 bucks?

ianfann, This is beautiful also! So nice that I actually don't mind that the adapters are SS. If it's not that pricy, I'd just mark it up with a black Sharpie...maybe? I'm just thrilled there are some real nice choices with the 3rd party bands now - way too excited to mod my watch a tad! :)
