Love that Kors band. My watch SHOULD finally be here tomorrow, but I've already been looking up 3rd party bands. (Being the watch geek that I am, I could just see myself going crazy on a collection of bands for the watch lol) I have 3 "dead, unrepairable" watches I kept in a box..now seeing that these bands might be used on my Black sport..I'm pretty psyched! The top black steel and bottom black leather should work with adapters - not sure about the middle polished stainless steel though.

The first ever MK watch I bought has started to fog on me when worn. Since it is a MK (even tho made by Fossil) the cheapest I can get anyone to give me an estimate for repair is $75. I don't think I paid $100-$125 for the watch. Sooo....as soon as I can get a good SG/Black adapter, I'm going to harvest the rubber band from the MK. I think it will look great on the SG Sport. Will much prefer as a workout or casual band over the Sport band. It is the exact width of the Apple leather band, color is good, reminds me of some of the rubber "dive bands" but not as thick (not a bad thing), even has black hardware (unlike the LL) so it will come down to adapters.

I LOVE this also, especially the outer case. I also love larger watches and this works - for me personally.

I really wanted something to make it look bigger on my rist. All of my other watches are at least a 45mm and one is 48mm

REALLY like this band Jmona - d*amn, Really...Best Buy has these?? The one down the street from me has squat when it comes to Apple products - or anything I really need most of the time (terrible BB). I could have better luck at one about 20 miles from me. They are one of the few around here that have an Apple section. Way too many choices..and that's OK with me. :)

They have those at Best Buy. Exactly same colors and more ranging from $6-10.
I was going to pick a couple up the other day but I wasn't sure what size I'd need until I got my click adapter. I was mainly looking at these links. I'm going back this weekend to pick a couple of the multicolor straps. #Best Buy

Hey all -

Has anyone tried using one of the adapters to put a 20mm band on a 38mm AW? I'm looking at that eBay retailer whose adapters are 20mm for the 38 and wondering if the band would look ok, or if it would look too narrow.

Thanks!

38 SS and did buy an adapter from eBay and got a 22 MM watch band.....there was still a little room....in my opinion due to the size of the watch anything smaller than a 22 MM watch band will look too small...

I just ordered the hoco link bracelet and like that much better - it's a wider band but I think it looks much better on the watch - but that's just my personal preference. I also have really tiny wrists too (140 mm). I hope this helps

Cheers,
Bobbie

Thanks! I did some looking and saw that the Monowear bands are 20mm for the leather, so hopefully 20mm won't look too off. I was hoping to pair this eBay adapter with this standard watch band, and unfortunately, 20mm is the widest it comes in!

I got my adapter for my 38 MM from that same guy on eBay and a 22 MM fit it fine..... I hadn't paid any attention to the fact it said only 20 MM. I just told the jewelry store owner I wanted a 22 MM link band.

I don't trust that auction at all...the pic is one of Apple's and it comes with adapters? That's not what's pictured :/ I'd wait until real pics of the imitation leather loop show up. I'd love to have one but I'm holding out for actual pics.

As well as the 38mm's are mainly female styled... as a skinny wristed male, it's kinda good that they are all pretty hideous throughout.
I thought this, too - really annoying since the 42mm ones are less obnoxious in general (which would appear to everyone) and cheaper.

My watch, bands, and adapters all came today... Perfect timing!

I bought this adapter:
ebay adapter

And these bands:
MVMT - Tan
MVMT - Black

My thoughts: First the Adapter. I don't like the look of Apple's hook adapter, so I was happy to find the spring pin style on ebay. It fits pretty well, probably not as good as apple's own, but it is good enough. I used the pins that came with the band, since they were a little longer, I figure that is more secure. The one strange thing is that the sides are polished, but the top is brushed. It's not too noticeable, and I still think it looks good. Overall, I am pretty happy with it, but I'll probably get a new one when something better comes out down the road.

Now the bands. I have never liked the look of the 22mm bands, I think they look too small, so I was happy to find out that the MVMT bands were 24mm. I have always liked the look of the MVMT bands. These bands are great. The tan one is a little lighter than I thought it would be, but Im sure it will darken over time. They are are nice and thick, and you can tell they are good quality.

The Milanese Loop from Apple is also brushed across the top and bottom, and polished only on the sides, so, this actually looks more like what it should I think. I like this approach and the look of these lugs.

Can you tell me where I can find that space grey adapter? Thanks

----------

I got the adapter from same seller. It's not space grey, it's black. I emailed the seller and he'll send me the replacement for grey, not black when his shipment comes in few days. Hopefully you get the space grey version.

What size band will fit in these adapters? 22mm? 24mm?

It can fit 24mm. Looks better with 24mm as it fills out the adapter nicely without moving around.

Thanks. Can you recommend and adapter in Space gray that looks good and is tight fitting in the Watch? I found a nice OD Green Nylon Nato Strap I'd like to use on eBay for like $13.

As of right now, there is no definite space grey adapter. Some got lucky with grey and others got more black than grey so it's a toss up whenever you order grey adapter. I ordered the grey and ended up with black.

Strap from etsy. Using lugs that came with Apple Classic Buckle. So the fit is perfect.
