I got the Case-Mate Turnlock band
http://www.case-mate.com/collection...products/black-apple-watch-38mm-turnlock-band

It's not bad. It's firmer than I expected and doesn't stretch much so it will not fit a wide range of sizes. Their little animated gif shows you putting one side on then putting it to your wrist and then sliding the other side in. I couldn't do that one handed. I squeeze it on and off over my hand. It happens to fit me just right so I'll keep it, but if anyone is much bigger than me they'll be returning it. (I use the second to last and last holes on the S/M Apple sports band).
It is not individual links like I thought it would be. It is one piece, fairly firm with little stretch.

It's still doing great! Here are a few close up pics of the sides. Someone had asked about that earlier, wanting to know if the leather was pealing up at all. It looks like this band will hold up long term. It's very comfortable too.
Good to know. Thanks!

I looked and didn't see this brand on here. A buddy referenced this shop to me after he bought a strap for his omega. I ordered a strap last week and should have it in the next couple of days. Each strap is handmade to order, so you can customize it with thread color. The bands are made out of Horween leather.

Another mystery package has appeared. This one has a band I haven't seen before. This is the Poetic Volante, which I found here. The leather is thin and flexible, which is really nice. It has that wonderful leather feel - you couldn't mistake it for anything but leather.

The stitching is heavy, but neither masculine or feminine. I'd say it would be a good fit for man or woman.

One of the neat things about this band is the metal piece on the end of the strap. It's designed to slide through the loop at a 45 degree angle and will not slide out (unravel). That means you can treat it like a loop and slide it on and off over your wrist without having to completely undo it.

The metal parts on this version perfectly match my space grey sport.

Here are more images like you asked. Two notes* the color on this band is a deep gun metal even though it says black View attachment 575461 (it's very nice) and this is the first version of these clones. The new version has a clasp more like Apples.
View attachment 575456 View attachment 575457 View attachment 575458 View attachment 575459 View attachment 575460 Overall it is a very high quality band and the price on this version is dropping daily as the supply increases and the new versions emerge.

Wow, that is really nice! I've been waiting for these Butterfly bands. How is it holding up so far?
Also how long did it take to arrive, from ordering to arriving at your doorstep. Looks like if I bought it tonight - "Estimated (arrival is) between Mon. Sep. 21 and Tue. Oct. 27."

21 days is not too bad, but Oct 27...ouch
Almost every one I see on Ebay comes from Hong Kong or somewhere in China.

Sorry but that doesn't look like a perfect match at all. They seem like the same shiny dark silver as the others I've seen.

I hope I'm wrong.

I also hope and expect that someone will come out with a connector that really matches sometime soon.

I really loved these, but I was let down by Poetic 3 too many times with them delaying those other colorful bands, and giving me the boot every time I inquired on a date, so I canceled the 5 bands I bought and moved on. This one however looks great. I just wished I hadn't had such a bad experience with them, I'll have to pass sadly.

It's holding up great. It took mine 12 days which was way faster than the estimated time. It was marked as shipped two days after I purchased. Tracking never showed but to my surprise it was in the mail.

I ordered this band also, said it will ship out today.

No too keen on the adapters they are not the same as shown in the Amazon product listing.

I might have to return.

I'm used to playing the waiting game, since I'm a frequent backer on Kickstarter. I know what goes into a new product launch, even with an established company like Poetic. I still have my order holding for the purple band. Last estimate was mid September.

What is it you don't like about the adapters?

The product photos on Amazon show space grey coloured Springbar adapters, not the classic buckle type adapter.

Question for the pros. Do I need to order 22mm or 24mm leather band for my 38mm? I'm looking at some awesome stuff on Etsy and I'm not sure exactly what size I'll need.
Thanks so much in advance!
