Another mystery package has appeared. This one has a band I haven't seen before. This is the Poetic Volante, which I found here. The leather is thin and flexible, which is really nice. It has that wonderful leather feel - you couldn't mistake it for anything but leather.

The stitching is heavy, but neither masculine or feminine. I'd say it would be a good fit for man or woman.

One of the neat things about this band is the metal piece on the end of the strap. It's designed to slide through the loop at a 45 degree angle and will not slide out (unravel). That means you can treat it like a loop and slide it on and off over your wrist without having to completely undo it.

The metal parts on this version perfectly match my space grey sport.

Congrats! I just got this one yesterday too! It's a great band, different from everything else out there. It reminds me of the interior of a Porsche. So far I'm really happy with it, it's very comfortable and feels like it will last a long time.

The light makes everything match nothing and nothing match everything. It is a perfect match.

Ya, I've noticed that close up pictures make everything look worse than they are in person. I've posted a few of the different bands that I have, and the pics never seem to do them justice. No adapters are going to be a perfect match, but in person you can't really tell. Even if you can tell, nobody else can unless you point it out.

Even Apples metal band isn't a perfect match to the stainless steel or the sport watch.

I really loved these, but I was let down by Poetic 3 too many times with them delaying those other colorful bands, and giving me the boot every time I inquired on a date, so I canceled the 5 bands I bought and moved on. This one however looks great. I just wished I hadn't had such a bad experience with them, I'll have to pass sadly.

I'm in the same boat. Still waiting on 2 other bands from them, but I'm just glad that they are making sure to get it right! Poetic makes good products.

A other Spring adapters or the normal adapters I guess. I've got both types.

Spring bar adapters: 38mm = 20mm
42mm = 24mm

Classic adapters: 38mm = 22mm
42mm = 24mm

I keep seeing people post about the HOCO bands. Where are you buying them from? I see they are cheaper on amazon then the actual website. Didn't know if these were legit or not.

Hello has anyone looked into the Fossil bands for the Apple Watch yet? The bands are made for Fossil watches but it looks like they would be adaptable for the Apple Watch.

Ooops the bands are only 18mm wide for women but the men have some that might work for the 38mm and 42mm.

So. Much. This!!!
Thanks man for breaking it down for me. This is just exactly what I needed to know. Even when women tend to "know everything" sometimes, we can still learn new stuff every once in a while. Haha.

So here is the Happycell v3 black steel band. Unfortunately it is going back. The color isn't bad though obviously not a match for the space grey sport. However, it has a few issues.

1. The bright steel shining through was more noticeable in person than I had anticipated. I was hoping the photos exaggerated the effect but they don't. That is what you see.
2. It is a fingerprint magnet and makes it look oily and dirty IMHO
3. I wore it for an hour in my office and after about 15 minutes I noticed the fleck of black missing from the coloring of the steel. I checked and that was it. 20 minutes later I noticed another spot near the watch. You can see it in the pictures. A few minutes later another spot appeared. Something is wrong, the black coating seems to be flaking off while I am typing a proposal on my laptop. Bizarre. It must be defective.

I was really hoping for more with this one but no way I can justify paying $88 for this.

Sorry HappyCell. The good news is the version 2 of their leather loop is very nice so far. I'll post on it soon.

I just got this Apple replica leather loop. I can't believe how nice it is. It's just like Apples version. It's really comfortable and seems like it will hold up well. I think I'm gonna order the blue one, and maybe a few of the other colors. Can't beat the price, and I feel much more comfortable buying on Amazon than Ebay.

This specific band and seller is getting bashed on Reddit continuously due to the quality of this product after some time. I hope this isn't the case for you and hope it works out well but keep an eye on it!

The band I ordered from lnkoo (a seller highly recommended here) missed its estimated delivery date and has still yet to come after a month. ebay ended up refunding me, though I still really want the leather loop.

Weird...mine came well before the date and was tons better than the one from FreedomClock09. I wear the Inkoo one a lot...got a blue from FreedomClock and the connectors were too short to fit the watch well. It's going back.

I don't think it would be a good idea using that with a sport as its Stainless Steel. Stainless and Aluminium react with each other over time and corrode.
