I've been perusing this thread but 92 pages is overwhelming!

I am looking for the best 3rd party brown (darker brown preferred) leather band for a SS 42MM. I bought the watch used and it came with a white and black sports band and a black leather band.

Would love a brown leather to go with my navy suits and brown combos.

Thanks for any suggestions!!

Clockworksynergy has some nice bands. Adapters are a hit and miss in terms of quality but for the price you can't go wrong.

Buy a spring adapter off a U.S. seller on eBay and get a 24mm handmade band off etsy. That's your best bet for quality

Just received this leather band from Etsy.. I really love it. Seller adjusted it with dark rivets and adapters so it would match my space gray watch.

How long is the leather loop? it looks like it only comes in one length?

I would say that this band would fit a 150mm to 200mm wrist. You might be able to go a little lower and higher, but that's my suggestion. My wifes wrist is 150mm and that's where the band will start to overlap the watch. For the high measurement I went up my forearm to measure it and it seems like 200mm is about as far as you can go where the magnets will still hold strong. As a reference my wrists are 170mm.

BTW, I really like these bands so I decided to get two more colors. I think they must have worked out the knots because so far they are holding up well.

I'm REALLY HAPPY with the blue! The color is gorgeous! It's somewhere between a royal and navy blue which is exactly what I wanted!

I just got my bands today too (same two colors!)... I was hoping that they had solved the width issues with the band connectors not being flush with the watch case.

Are your band connectors still a tad short?

Weird thing is... the top piece of my bright blue leather loop is PERFECT.

Mine is kind of the same way. The top piece fits a little better than the bottom.

They're a pretty good fit but not perfect. For the price it's insignificant. To be honest, I only notice the imperfections when I take the close up pics. During the day I don't even notice it because it's so minimal. Even Apples aren't 100% perfectly flush.

100% agree its a minor tradeoff for the price. Thanks for the confirmation!

I'm pretty happy with this set up for wearing my space grey sport with suits and dress cloths. These are the Luvvitt adapters in black and a Hadley-Roma brown band. I do wish the band's buckle was black however.

Does anyone know of a decent quality black leather strap for a 42mm Gold Apple Watch Sport? Or would you recommend just buying the official one? Thanks
