There is a Page from Intel where @ least some can check if the CPU is not affected via Serial Number or ATPA and Batch Number FPO:Are you at all concerned about the 13th and 14th gen issues? I'm not completely sure if Intel has the problems figured out right now.

I have set the MSI CPU Lite to 1 to under clock and save energy so i guess that helped...I have not noticed any degradation on my 14700k as of yet
I’ve kept sensible power and voltage limits from the start so hopefully that helps
I do wish there was a definitive way to test it
Apparantly the only test anyone has figured out requires an nvidia gpu, which, running macOS i obviously don’t have
The concern that I have is that the issue on some was caused by oxidation which takes a toll over time. I assume that it's fixed by now but I wouldn't want to get one during the period of manufacturing problems. Intel hasn't released a date range for that issue. What's annoying is that they apparently have known about this problem for five months but really haven't said much about it.
AMD has a new 3 nm chip which looks a lot more interesting.
And the Info from Intel is weired at least for saying is not related and then later sometimes related to...If i was
If i was buying a chip now I would certainly be looking at amd more closely than I normally would
Having already bought I can only hope my cpu is fine
I thought I read that the oxidation issue was 13th gen, while both were affected by crazy voltage requests
I do wish there was a way to test it
I have set the MSI CPU Lite to 1 to under clock and save energy so i guess that helped...incidentally, as per buildzoid, it turns out you can simply set a limit on the voltage the cpu requests and that's that. no problems at at
edit: at least on gigabyte z790. don't know about other bios/boards
