Bought my 64gb Wi-Fi only iPad a few days ago... LOVE IT!!!!
Team viewer app is really helpful for me.

Can't wait for the next OS update...

No problems here! I'm loving my iPad. I got 32gb wi-fi and it has not had a single problem. I use this thing much more then my MacBook now.

I think its about expectations management. The iPad has limitation, sure, but so does everything else. I have yet to see any one device do EVERYTHING well. I love the battery life on my 64GB 3G iPad. Data on the go, never worry about wifi availability, 12 hrs of movies, and instant on. I used to carry a laptop everywhere and have to hunt for power outlets but I realized that most of what I did was surf the web, take notes and watch movies during down time. For me, the iPad was a perfect fit as soon as I downloaded Documents to Go (thank God for auto bullet points). Sure it could be a little lighter, but I forgive it for the freedom its given me.

Woohoooooooooooo!

No complaints here. :apple:

No complaints. Sold my MBP and have yet to miss it (besides the graphics card was better than my mini, so my MotoGP 08 won't work anymore). I only regret not saving up more to get a bigger hard drive. Love it though.

I love my iPad that I only open my mbp to watch some hulu (dont want to pay subscription on ipad) and some word processing. Other than that, iPad all the way baby! :D

I'm glad to see that people here can find no fault or issue with their current iPad and hence have absolutely no desire for it to do anything else than it currently does.

It totally does everything they ever need in it's V1 form, which is great.

I also fully expect than none of these people will be buying the next model, as in doing so you would be admitting that the 1st model did not do all you wanted.

Enjoy your Mk1 for eternity ;)

I will only upgrade when mine stops working. For me, I believe software updates will do everything I think I may need in the future.

I don't need a camera. I have an iPhone and a DLSR for that.
I don't more RAM (at least not until it becomes the iPhone 2G/3G of the iOS4 world) because it's fast enough for everything I've done so far.
I don't need need to carry my entire iTunes library on it because it's an in between device and my most listened to music is on my iPhone anyway.
iChat is not something I desire. I will make a call if want to talk to someone. It seems so overrated to me. The only time I ever used a web cam was in Iraq to talk to my girlfriend online.

I love it because it does everything I want or need when I am not at home on my mini.

I adored my iPad. It does 90 % of the things i do on my laptop. My laptop is still sitting in my bag right now since ivwe been on my iPad all day long. Its a great device and I'm glad si bought one.

I only got mine on Monday and I am loving it - as I expected!.

It does the things I want it to do and very nicely (can't wait to see it with iOS4 though as I am spoilt with the iP4).

I do have gripes, but they are minor software ones and do not belong here.

As for rev.1 - its a hit in my eyes. lovely to use and hold. will I buy the next one? depends what it has that this one does not. I can't say yet, but for what this device does now I am over-the-moon with it.

nice to see a positive only thread :)

note: just been to my old office and it got passed around like a new-born - even the android lovers were impressed!

Same here. i love my iPAD. I'm still tweaking it to do more things I need, but it has been handling very well.

Good on you!!! Reading the numerous complaints you start to wonder, Am I the only one who is happy??

I've had my iPad for over a few weeks now. it is progressively replacing my laptop for 90% of the time. The other 10% I'm using my laptop or desktop.

Does the iPad do what I wanted it to do. Yes, I did a lot of research before I bougt it.

Am i glad i bought the iPad?? Hell YES

Any regrets?? Hell NO

I wonder what all of those people who upgraded from iPhone 1 to iPhone 2 to iPhone 3 to iPhone 4 were thinking! They must be completely dumb...

FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) results in many upgrading, not necessarily the new features themselves. Never underestimate the power of FOMO - it's why normal citizens turn to looters during riots, or squabble over some ugly-ass sweater just because it's 50% off.

I would like to add that the fact that I can so easily switch between different keyboard layouts (except Dvorak, but word has it that's on its way) is a godsend. I switch between English, German and Italian several times a day, so not having to remember silly codes for ü ä ö ß or à è ì etc is AWESOME!

I was contemplating upgrading my iPhone 3Gs to an iPhone 4, or to purchase an iPad.

Decided on an iPad 3G 64GB. Very happy with it. Don't need a Netbook now. And I find myself using my iPad when I used to use my MBP15. It's not a replacement, but can do most of what I need ... anywhere.

+1 for this thread.

Bought my 32 GB WiFi iPad on launch date. No scratches, no dead pixels, no dust under the screen, no WiFi issues, no problems.

Ditto. Launch date unit here and it's as perfect as it gets. The sucker is in constant use by someone in the household at all times.

Speaking of wifi, I'm on a hotel wifi stream right now and we all know how weak they can be - no problem here.
