I ordered the MBA 13.3 4GB/128GB on the Apple Store yesterday, said shipping in 3 business days, and delivery 1-3 November.

Anyone in Australia had the BTO shipped yet?

Mine was ordered thursday and still NOT YET SHIPPED... not even PREPARED :-(

Bella, which country are you in? if you're outside the USA, log into apple.com instead your own countries website and check your status there. Mine has been prepared for shipment since yesterday, but on the UK site it still just says still not shipped. The only reason I knew is the option to cancel my order has disapeared, which means its been made and allocated.

San Francisco (USA). What's strange is the order status page goes to Singapore\Asia Fulfillment (I'm assuming that's just where Apple's particular server farm is for China\Asia-based fulfillment)... but it masks it when the address resolved. It charged (or authorized) when I placed the order, but now it still has the option to cancel the order. I go to store.apple.com and do order status and it says NOT YET SHIPPED, even when I login as myself.

Yuck, when I go to Store.Apple.com and go to MY ACCOUNT, then ORDER STATUS, it's now displaying an Internal Server Error... how very un-apple. :-(

Thats very odd, the option cancel mine went away yesterday morning

yes, they usually arrive a day earlier than fedex's eta

No, that's not true. Fedex adjusts the delivery time\date based on destination. The time check-ins along the way are based on the setting (you can toggle local time, time at origin\destination, etc on their website)... but the projected delivery date they give is based on the destination DATE.

You can call FedEx and verify if you don't believe me :)

I'm just curious. Since the tracking shows that it is the 25th when really it's still the 24th in the US, should we expect our packages a day earlier than the expected fedex ETA?

hmmm, you may be right but I remember they always used to arrive a day early, maybe that has changed in the past few years?

It's not to say it can't beat their expectations (ie if the shipper sends 2 day and there's room on the truck they'll send it out a day early), but the last couple years they've gotten pretty good at hitting the mark with delivery times.

The extra confusing thing is that the Shipment notification email I got from Apple 2.5 ago claims that it would deliver BY tomorrow, Oct 25.

My 11.6/4gb/1.6ghz/128gb has been shipped out of Alaska according to UPS. I believe it goes to Memphis and then up too Toronto (Where I live). I'm thinking it will be here Tuesday (Oct. 26).

I think most people already know this but if you are really OCD about the exact status of your order, you can somewhat track it via FlightAware.

For example, my new 13" MBA Netbook was actually moved to "Shipped" status sometime last Friday my time (Midwest USA). But it sat there in Shanghai since it missed the Fedex pickup cutoff time. Pretty normal, nothing to worry about.

Via Fedex website, it now shows:

Oct 25, 2010 5:25 AM In transit SHANGHAI CN

Using FlightAware, I can determine that Fedex flight 93 left Shanghai for Alaska at 5:20A Shanghai time, destined to arrive in Alaska at 9:44P local time:

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/FDX93

Once it lands, you can watch it continue to your local sort facility by following the Fedex timestamps on the updates....pretty easy to figure out the flights it will take thereafter.

Ordered my 11.6 4GB 64GB on Fri 10/22 at 9a PST and it is still listed as "Not Yet Shipped". I did go for the free standard shipping. It is heading to me in the north east United States. I am hopeful I will see it by Fri 11/29...thins that is asking a lot?

1 hour 5 mins left until my new netbook is on US soil!

From there, I think you can scan around on FlightAware a bit and monitor any FDX flights outbound from Anchorage to Memphis. More than likely, it will be on that flight. Once in Memphis, it goes to a variety of locations to eventually reach you.

Near where it says "Not Yet Shipped" it'll have a estimated delivery time... It'll come by then.
