Apple’s Order Page isn’t working right now, so I can’t check for updates :(

Does anyone know if there is any possibility of the M1 Macbook’s being delivered earlier than what Apple website says?

Or does UPS hold it until release date just like they do with iPhones?

Ordered one Nov 10 and it's now preparing for shipping. I upgraded to 16GB RAM, so I'm assuming it'll be shipped directly from China. Anticipated delivery date Nov 24-27.

You're right! It's been updated as shipped and says it will arrive Monday - which would be incredible since it's in China and I'm in Maryland (USA).

Anyone knows what this means. My arrival was 17th nov earlier. Now it says check back. Ups says clearance in progress as headline. Under details updates I have the following message

“We currently have the package. The receiver requested clearance by a non-ups broker”

Should I follow up with UPS or Apple for this ?

I had a similar message for my iPhone (see copy below). I do believe it is anything to worry about...

"Your shipment was not processed by UPS brokerage. This has caused a delay. / Brokerage released the package. It will be processed through a clearing agency before final release to UPS..."

Mine now says check back later as well. It was saying Monday for delivery.

Update for me is now it’s in Alaska. Original delivery date was 17 th when shipped. Now it’s 18th , pretty disappointed because I had a day off on 17 th and was hoping to spend some time with the laptop.

Mine doesn't show those delay messages. It Departed from Facility on 11/16 12:00 AM and UPS tracking now shows the scheduled delivery as Information Unavailable (was 11/16). Apple status is arrives 11/19.

Keep the faith! Back when I did this dance with iPhones the estimated date would change more than once in either direction.

No changes to report on my laptop :( Still "Departure Scan" - Anchorage, 8:47pm on 11/14/20.
Assuming you are Eastern Time that means it might have been on flight 5X53 that landed in Louisville @ 10:29 AM ET. If it didn't make that flight, the next one (5X83) to Louisville landed 30 minutes ago as I type this - 11:14 PM ET (which mine might be on). Mine departed Anchorage at 2:30 PM PT. Maybe you'll have good news in the morning.

Will Apple stores have inventory on the 17th?
I missed the launch day pre order and expected delivery date is the 27th.

Looks like my Monday delivery isn't happening. As of right now I haven't had any updates since departing Alaska, other than a notification that the customs agency released the package. My guess is that it's sitting in Kentucky and will start moving later today for delivery tomorrow. Same scenario with my recent iPhone order. Delivery showed it was coming the day before release but it sat in Kentucky for two days and didn't leave until the afternoon of the day before release date.
