8th March delivery for me in the UK. i got the top standard config of the 15" so the 16GB/512GB model (in space grey with 35W charger)What kind of delivery dates are people looking at, and for what configuration?
As I mentioned above, mine is 16GB/1TB with an expected delivery of March 19-21.
Delivery date seems to depend on exactly what configuration you ordered rather than when you ordered, as the delivery estimates are still pretty much the same as they were yesterday. At least here in Canada, it seems like only a few configurations were ever available for the 8th.8th March delivery for me in the UK. i got the top standard config of the 15" so the 16GB/512GB model (in space grey with 35W charger)
i don't know when apple put them up for sale but MR posted this
Apple Announces New MacBook Air Models With M3 Chip
Apple today announced new 13- and 15-inch MacBook Air models with M3 chip, improved external display support, Wi-Fi 6E, and more. Apple says that...www.macrumors.com
at 05:04 PST so that's about 13:04 in the UK. I placed my order at 14:36 (06:36 PST). I spent about 10-15 minutes thinking it over before ordering so I guess I read the article at 14:21-14:26 (06:21-06:26 PST).
I don’t know if it’s because a lot of people are buying the higher spec configurations, or just that they had a much higher stock of the entry models to start with. Probably a combination of both, but I suspect that they pump out loads of the lower end models (schools and businesses buy them in bulk) but the higher spec models are made more in direct response to demand, so there’s more of a delay. It's crazy the lead times between the mid and top spec 15"
I guess 8GB really isn't enough!

Good tip. I remember seeing the same thing happen when I considered getting the 15" M2 last year. The 70W was easier/quicker to get delivered. For anyone on the fence about buying the 15” MacBook Air, Midnight, 10-core GPU, 16GB Memory, 512GB Storage and 35w Dual USB-C Power Adapter for £1,699 the standard configuration is currently out of stock until late April. If you swap to a 70w Power Adapter, that drops it Late March and doesn’t cost any extra. I hope you find it useful.
Mine too, and my credit card has been charged. No turning back now!Just checked my order status and now it’s Preparing to Ship, maybe there’s a tiny possibility I might get it on Friday?

I think this refresh has been widely expected since the M3 was announced last year, and with the 15" MBA being a pretty popular device I think a lot will have been waiting for this.Seems almost any 15” MBA order now, with upgraded ram or SDD gets pushed back to 3/21 or beyond… that happened fast or they just didn’t prep too many.
There won't be anything to track until it actually progresses to "shipped".Anyone have luck tracking these? I’m in the Midwest and ordered a 15” midnight 16/512 and I just went preparing to ship.
Nothing on UPS Mychoice and I can’t find the track by reference page anymore. FedEx is showing nothing either but they are pretty useless anyway.
What did you use for the reference number?I just checked mine on track by reference in UPS, and that brought up "Shipment Ready for UPS". Cautiously optimistic that means I can still get it on Friday.
There's still an option to track by reference on this page on UPS
This hasn’t been true in the past with iPhones. We have been able to track the iPhones straight from china starting on Sunday and by using track by reference via UPS.There won't be anything to track until it actually progresses to "shipped".
I just clicked around the UPS site. What did you use for the reference number?
How did you find that page? I tried navigating their website and also tried to find it via google but it wasn’t in the first 2 pages. Thanks for sharing the link!
