I just clicked around the UPS site.

As for reference number, the order number on the Apple site is what got me that detail

I tried my exact order number and got nothing returned. I’m hoping that means they are creating the label in the morning. I got release date delivery so I’m not concerned, I just want to catch it early so I can have it held at the CC.

I'm sure while M3 MBAs are popular, given no event and reviews that it's not a huge upgrade vs M2 or even M1, I'm hoping for plenty of available stock in stores...
There's never going to be a lot of people with less than 3 year old machines rushing to upgrade, but there's no telling how many people have 5+ year old computers that have been awaiting what will be a major upgrade to them. Or I should say, "us", as I'm one of them.

I think it's pretty rare for Apple to miss the stated delivery date/range. If it's listed as arriving tomorrow, it's probably coming from somewhere it can be shipped from overnight, so it could ship tonight and still be in your hands tomorrow.

Mine isn't available until the 20th.

This is replacing my M2 MacBook Air. Nearly identical except now it has the M3 (duh), can support 2 external displays and shouldn't be as much of a fingerprint magnet. The M2 goes into storage in case of emergency and my M1 gets sold.
My new M3 MacBook Air was supposed to be shipped to an Apple store around the 20th. I just checked and the status updated to Shipping to Store. I wonder if I'll be getting a pickup notice over the weekend. That's incredibly early compared to the usual (and somewhat inconvenient since I had it shipped to a store near where I work about 40 minutes away from where I live. I guess I could wait to Monday if it arrives over the weekend but I wouldn't take any bets on that.)

Now that there's a stock 16GB option for the Air, I wonder what BTO config Apple Stores will be stocking? Or maybe they won't now.

Due to be delivered 1pm-2pm by DPD today. As far as I know, the screen on the M3 MBA is nicer than the M1 MBP too, so that's another bonus!

Will hopefully be left alone at work enough this afternoon to set up the new MBA and have a play around!

Yeeey DPD are delivering between 10:34-11:34. It’s currently 10:13.

For a change they are getting to me early. Usually I am waiting until 4-5PM for them.

Super excited :D

How long does it take for there to be any updates from DHL as it’s been stuck on this since yesterday afternoon?

(Apologies for asking questions, it’s the first time I’ve ever preordered a Mac)

Until it's scanned in at the next location, from experience of my watch from a few years back that came from China it was 5 days i think from dispatch to arrival at mine after going through various hubs in Europe for a few days.

My order shipped early this morning via UPS!

Original estimated delivery from Apple was March 19-21.

Apple has updated that to March 14.

UPS says March 11.

I bought a 15" M3 Air in Midnight Blue - CTO with 2TB SSD, 24GB Ram and 70 watt adapter and AppleCare. I used the 10% military discount. Its replacing my wife's Mid-2010 Macbook Pro 13" with 1TB (totally full) and 16GB RAM. Hopeully the Air also lasts ten years! Should be quite the upgrade.

I ordered it maybe an hour after the announcement, it has shipped and will be here the 12th!

I saw my order to be shipped to an Apple store was showing Shipping to Store yesterday with the original date of March 20th. Now it is showing March 14th. Maybe I'll get a notice even earlier.
