Anyone know what the in-store "ultimate" configuration is this year? Previously it used to be 16GB/1TB, but wanted to see if there were any folks who were able to pick up a configuration with 24GB RAM?

Biggest tip I have is use CMD + Spacebar to bring up spotlight and just type an app name, then hit enter to launch it. It’s super fast.
In the UK, I've not seen any such config yet and lead-time for 1TB models seems to be a couple of weeks out, so not sure if there's a constraint around the SSDs used?
Best suggestion I would make as well. Gary is such a great Mac instructor.
I've been using a Mac since 1985 and I still find stuff on his channel that I didn't know or had forgotten about. I could spend days on there.
Seems like 512gb is currently the max specification carried. I didn't see any stock in store yesterday for any other model.
I think that might be due to a delay of some sort on the models with larger SSDs which seems to be clearing now.
Nice that's awesome! I used my account balance and there was minor drop in the total amount between when I ordered and this morning, and Apple declined payment. Wish the system would just transition any difference over to the associated card. Think I missed the boat in the order shipping out today.
Just ordered starlight M3 13” 16 512GB from John Lewis had lots of stock just in, first new MacBook since the 12” 2015 which has served well. Apart from the MacBook I have for work (M1 13” space grey) so it’s an upgrade for me. Pick up Sunday.

Midnight M3 13'' 24Gb/1Tb ordered on March 8th, will be delivered today ahead of the estimated Mar 22-26 window.
mines scheduled to be delivered tomorrow but I don't think it'll make it as it's not even in the US yet. 😞
Edit: Now it's in Incheon, South Korea so maybe there is hope for it being delivered tomorrow.
