Just picked up a 13" ultimate at the 5th avenue store. Going to sell my late 2009 13" MBP and use this as my primary machine until we see MBP updates in 2011.

Well, my MBA so far has departed from Memphis (earlier today around 1pm) but hasn't done another scan since (headed only towards Chicago). It's not too far from Chicago so I'm wondering if you guys think it went via air and is waiting at the airport here in Chicago for workers to continue the process, B) went via truck where it's probably just sitting somewhere in Chicago waiting for Early Monday shift workers to start? C) Sitting ready to hop the next 1am or so flight over to Chicago...

now at east mids and the '03/11 rescheduled' eta has now disappeared in favour of 'In Transit'

ooh and now the delivery date has gone from the originally quoted 02 nov to 01 nov so its now a day early rather than a day late

I live in Copenhagen, Denmark, so there shouldn't be any significant problems with customs...
Still not quite sure why it's taking so long, but I still haven't even gotten a tracking number :-/

i sure hope it comes soon UmbraClaw. I think you and Steve31 are the only that ordered on Oct 20th left ( that had no shipping issues like accidental signatures at the wrong address or had it stolen).

I hope it arrives soon for ya and sure it'll be there very fast!! We're waiting with ya in spirit.

Finally received my 13/1.8/4 MBA!
Was scheduled for delivery in two days, but picked it up at the depot just then! amazingly fast!
Flash memory and the extra RAM really makes a difference!

Mine has a departure scan since friday, but as far as I can see it's not in NL yet. Friday the deliverydate was that day, today it's today again,.... It's getting annoying that or the UPS site isn't up to date or that they are just damn slow!

Hey mate,
I ordered mine on the Apple Online Store on the 24th. It was a BTO so it took 3 extra days to ship.
From then on, it was pretty much smooth sailing once it left Shanghai.

You should be looking at 4-5 days for delivery.

Its worth the wait though mate, its so zippy and the display at 1440 x 900 is incredibly crisp.

I posted earlier in the thread that i got mine on Friday the 29th. I forgot to mention it was scheduled to be delivered on Nov 2nd so don't trust the delivery date. Once it gets to alaska it only takes about one more day to get to you it seems.

As you can see I just received my 11,6" 1,6Ghz, 4GB Ram, 128 GB Flash just now. Ordered one hour after the keynote. Can't wait to get home from work and open it and start playing with it.

One weird thing, why do we norwegians get ours through the Netherlands and the danish through Germany?

Looks like mine is stuck in Cologne still since it still only has a Cologne arrival scan, I called UPS and they just told me it's due to be delivered on the 3rd which was the date Apple gave me. Waiting for new things is terrible

I bet it took a rode trip! Kind of what "mine" did as it took 7 hours from Memphis to Dallas. "Mine" is still in Dallas this morning and needs to get on a truck in Ft Worth in order to be Out for Delivery. Looks like it will get here tomorrow and then I need to make a trip to the Apple Store.
