Hi guys...

I know this is a noob question but i just need to ask.

Where do you guys obtain the actual carrier tracking info?

How would I know if its fedex, ups etc.

I live in the UK.

Waiting for my macbook air anxiously...

i ordered on the 25...

Open the Shipment notice mail from Apple
Click the "status" link, a webpage opens, log in,
then click Track this order (or something like that)
then copy the carriers tracking number and go to their website (probably UPS).

What's annoying about the whole situation at the moment. If you look back through this thread. UK people who've ordered, once their item departs COLOGNE it gets delivered that SAME day in the UK!

Check out the tracking on this one, leaves COLOGNE at 2am and they try and deliver it the same day!

http://att.macrumors.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=257545&d=1288182746

Mine left COLOGNE at 2am this morning, yet no sign of a delivery

Sorry but I tried UPS website. i got this.

>>> UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later.

How does the tracking number look like?

Its not the order numbers right? And not the delivery reference number as well?

I clicked on a tracking no. to get to that page...so i asume thats the number to track since its very long.

It was shipped by a Kuhne & Nagel Spedition s.a r. company.

Advice plz. I want to track my dear MBA

Hey Jacksteruk309,

how did you get that info?

Please tell me.

Tks

I found the tracking number by going to store.apple.com/uk, going to Account then Order Status, logged in, clicked Track This Shipment and your tracking number should be under "Carrier Tracking Number", and the name of the carrier below it. In the case of UPS, I went to UPS.com and copied and pasted the carrier tracking number into the bit at the top left and then clicked through.

My status too just changed to being on the FedEx truck for delivery... so hopefully, I'll see it today! Congrats to those who got theirs in.. I'm currently in the process of moving a ton of files and docs over from my MBP to an external drive...

Mike

Did you get it? Do you love it? "Mine" is still in Dallas and needs to get to Ft. Worth in order to deliver to my house. Proves that the Expedited Shipping was never applied. So happy I found this machine locally as it has taken me a few evenings to get all the software on the machine and up and running!

Keep me posted - Shirley

Just got my 13" MBA BTO (4GB, 2.13GHz, 256GB). Replacing my nearly two-year old Rev. B MBA. So far so good. This is my secondary machine. Primary is a desktop Mac Pro. I use it exclusively for travel (heavy road warrior) and couch surfing.

Primary reasons for upgrading were increased battery life (for those long flights), extra screen resolution, and more storage. Those extra 100 pixels in the vertical dimension make a big difference for Word documents. The extra horizontal resolution helps with Excel.

My only complaint: with all of this extra battery life, I have no excuse for not getting more work done... :D

So Mine started shipping around 10 PM Sunday Night Central Standard time in Chicago (11:21 AM Monday in China) and it is now 9:33 PM here in Chicago and it still has not been updated! Is it in flight or something? I had expedited shipping...and it is shipping Fedex. Estimated arrival of Nov. 3 10:30 AM

Ordered my MBA yesterday! 13" 2.13/4GB/256ssd

Should arrive Sun/Mon. :) Got 10% knocked off with government discount.

Can't wait! Last MacBook was a few years ago running a CoreDuo, not even a C2D. Should be a nice addition/replacement for my netbook. Still banking on my iPad for travel, but the MBA will be for taking to work and presentations and work while traveling.

Now to find a case...

YES! I did get it earlier today and was too busy getting everything transferred and setup for work tomorrow. And now that I'm done, I'm ready for bed! Tomorrow will be the real test for me in my work environment! (Sure it'll be fine!)

At home it's hooked up to my 24" ACD! So it goes from 11" mode to 24" mode at home!
