The "I just bought/ordered/got/shipped my new/refurb MBA" thread, [Merged]

I ordered on Oct 22, but Apple have "overlook" my order. They start the process only in Oct 28.
Now the MBA is on its way to Kuala Lumpur...:)

Finally my MBA started moving from Koeln! According to the Posted app it was heading for Copenhagen (Im in Sweden), but now it has apparently landed in Langenhagen, DE..

Not another slow german city :(
What is it doing there?!

Same for me! Mine was stuck for 2 days in Koeln.. Guess our Airs are flight buddies :D

Sweden too. Mine WAS going to be delivered tomorrow, but yesterday UPS Changed the date to the 8:th (monday) :(. Still hope it can make it here at least on friday so I can play with it this weekend :p

Thats really weird, I still have tomorrow and "Transit on time". Maybe yours is catching another plane from CPH..

I live in the northern parts of Sweden, so maybe mine has an extra flight to catch too. I've seen packages arrive on thursday/friday to the UPS terminal downtown, but they didn't deliver it until after the weekend. If that's the case now (*knocks on wood*), I'll just swing by the UPS office and pick it up myself, done that before ;)

This is actually the first time an Apple order didn't make it on time, actually I've always gotten them ahead of planned delivery date.

You know MacBook Pro (Early 2008), i'm really happy for you and i'm gonna let you finish.... but this Macbook Air (late 2010) is one of the best Apple laptop of ALL TIME! ALL TIME!

Just doing a clean install and then i will post a few HDR pics up for you guys!

I hope everyone expecting theirs this week dont have too much long of a wait.

Congrats! Where abouts do you live?
Mine flew to East Midlands overnight and then went on to Tamworth before dawn. I haven't had any "out for delivery" notice. Did you?
I'm only an hour away from Tamworth. It better get here soon!

I'm in Leeds mate, ours were on the same journey so I really hope you get it today. I'm surprised UPS delivered so early TBH. I just awaiting my bluetooth mouse to be delivered then ill be ready to go.

Was worried that i didn't have an "out for delivery" notice so just called up UPS and they confirmed that it was out for delivery :D Not going to any of my lectures until it gets here!!

Hi just ordered the top spec 13" Air this morning. Expected delievery date 18-19th November! this a normal lead time?

Had my 11.6 specced out model for a few days. Really love it. Took it to work to show our marketing director, a Mac person. She was very impressed and loved the light weight of it.

I ordered mine the 23rd and shipped on the 27th.

It seems that the MBA are selling fast that they couln't keep up with the demand.:)

I ordered the top spec 13 as well on monday evening through the education store where I was advised i would get it in around 6 - 7 days but when i got the confirmation email it said 16 - 17th November! I seriously hope its wrong

Still no status change either (stuck on "not yet shipped") should change tomorrow though (fingers crossed)
