mine's still listed as 'preparing...' as of 9:30pm PT.

i ordered mid-day on jan 8th. tomorrow is 2 weeks and they said "2-3 weeks" when i ordered.

I didn't know they had ever stated a 2-3 week shipping window. In NZ it started at ships January, then within a few hours, ships February. Must be a North American thing again, as they first stated 30 December for you guys.

Still no change

Has anyone from Australia got any movement on their order?
I ordered mine a couple of minutes after it went live and have heard nothing.
I rang up today and they said it should still ship in Jan but time is running out.

Ordered
6core With 256 hard disk and D700 graphics
I have now got 32 gig of OWC ram waiting here to install

Thanks very much. I look forward to posting those pics!

I hope I haven't jumped the gun here because although my credit card's available balance has gone down, my order status is yet to change. I got the impression that Stageshoot's status changed quite quickly.

Ah well, I must be patient. I'll check again in the morning!

Keep us updated, im getting excited for you as another 'UK'er'

Good morning from Munich, Germany!
nMP delivery in Germany seems to be a nightmare as well. I am active in one of the larger forums in Germany and only two of the users got their nMP so far - one stock and one BTO. I ordered about 2 hours after the store went online and the delivery date "January" is like cut in stone without any change.

So no good news from Bavaria so far......

Spoke too soon

Not to dissapoint you, but my card was charged on the 19th motegi was on the 18th, still "Processing" for both of us. Although there does seem to be a bit more love for northern hemisphere orders over southern hemisphere.

Stageshoot was only a matter of hours to change to "Preparing for Dispatch". So you might have more luck!

Since Saturday for me. Still waiting for any sliver of update... Don't hold your breath.

Interesting what you say there. It's a long time since your cards have been charged. I wonder if it's got anything to do with the weekend and Monday's public holiday in the US? I'd certainly hope you'd see some movement on your orders in the next day or so.

I did jump the gun, as after leaving it overnight since seeing my card's available balance drop, this morning my order status still says "Processing Items Dispatched: January".

I'm going to carefully place my excitement back in its box and resume my previous stance which was roughly this:

Work for a few minutes.
Check order status.
Work for a few more minutes.
Check order status.
Check order status again.
Check order status once again just to make sure.
Check order status yet again as perhaps it changed just as I was refreshing last time.
Check order status.
Put the kettle on.
Check order status.
Work for a few minutes
Take a phone call from a customer wondering why it's been taking me so long to send them things this month…
Repeat from the top.

It Arrived today

I used an ifrared thermometer and hear coming out of he top id 120 degrees. Great if you need to use it as a hand warmer in cold country.

Migration between computers does not work, currently using Super Duper to match by hard drive. Using back up did not work, it did not bring over all my passwords.

Imagine my surprise when I saw that the available balance has dropped by a Mac Pro sized lump. A quick tot up on the calculator and it's exactly the right amount.

Oh my! Lucky you Mr Clayton.... *sniffle*

Edit: When we all come back to this thread in 2024 (yes, in 10 years' time) when the nnMP is launched, we must include a "Payment Authorised/Authorized Date" column in the spreadsheet. :p

My 6core/16/1tb was ordered on 19/12 at 12:30am - almost as soon as the store came back up. I'm in the UK.

Still no dice. Phone 3 times in the last weeks. No ability to upgrade shipping, no advance on 'January'

Getting really hacked off with it now.

Apple really need to be more specific with their information.

If they weren't the only show in town, I'd have cancelled the order and walked away.

Long time Apple user. Disgusted.

A very apt username - hang in there!

Out of interest, what time did you see the UK store come back up? I'd been repeatedly refreshing, but didn't see it alive at 8.30am - but then annoyingly at 8.30am I had to be away from my computer, and didn't return to it until 8.40am.

Bummer dude,

But if it is any consolation (and I know it isn't but still), you're not alone!!!

I'm in Holland and I ordered it 40 minutes after you. Still on "January" for me as well. I'm afraid that shipping for us will happen in January but delivery will be in February. Still trying to keep my hopes up though.

It is farking annoying, but this thread and the spreadsheet give us something to be busy with :(
In the meantime let's keep our fingers crossed and hope we'll still get it in January.

About 8:20 (12:20), but I used the mobile store, which always comes up before the main one for some reason.

Best of luck to the US customers, but sad to see their orders appear more important than the rest of the world. So sad to see Australia and the Far East not getting much love at all.

'Goodbye Harmony' comes from the mishearing of the lyrics to different drum. Family joke ;-)

Best wishes
Rob

Feel a bit of a berk at getting so excited about my card balance being zapped with a Mac Pro sized lump. A few people have put on the spreadsheet the date their card was charged and it looks like it can be several days between that happening and a change in order status.

:(

Still, only 9 days of the month left…!

All but 1 person above me on the spreadsheet have shipped... and 30 orders placed after mine have also shipped. What is really frustrating is that 3 identical configurations as my order have shipped (2 to Europe, 1 to Hong Kong) and they were all ordered after mine.

Get your act together Apple.

Wow, my worst fears back in the fall have come true. Ordering announced just in time to still meet the "coming this FALL" promise, and then...a trickle.

It is almost like Tim Cook is cobbling nMPs together in his office (as a pet project) on a "time available" basis.
