Likewise for the 21st as an estimate on my 13" TB with a RAM upgrade. And again, likewise thinking I won't like the Touch Bar. We'll see.

I can't understand why these new 15" kaby lake MBP are not shipping sooner. I ordered Monday and it's 4-6 days for shipping. I also ordered the 2.8 base model and only upgraded the SSD to 512. So this tells me these are being built to order otherwise if there in stock they would be shipping within 2 to 3 days. A week just to prepare for shipment tells me there not in stock.

I ordered a base TB and they keep pushing back my delivery date. I'm bout to get my Shipping money back. I don't even think they have the machines built

You added a larger SSD that is a build to order option so yes your computer is being built to order. Sometimes Apple stores will have small quantities of the most common BTO machines, but since these aren't even in the stores yet it doesn't apply in this situation. That said, base configurations are currently delivering in the same time frame as BTO configurations and they were only delivering a day earlier on Monday so it would seem no models have left the factory floor yet.

That is really strange. 13" TB models are still available for delivery on Friday according to the Apple site.

I've not seen a single 15" MBP unboxing post online, has anyone received theirs yet? Just on principle, I'm bothered by the "ships today" claim when surely someone would have received a stock model by now. Did any 15" model actually ship out on Monday?

My story:
VR game dev here. After 16 years of Mac loyalty, in November, I wanted to walk away to Windows after the 2016 MBP update. Very dissatisfied. Since then I've been trying to find a VR ready laptop that fit my specific needs, and settled on an eGPU solution. Ironically, the more I learned, the more I realized that, due to a technical detail with TB3, the same 2016 model I disliked so much is the best eGPU laptop, period, so I returned my HP ZBook Studio G4 (not a great experience anyway) and got a 2016 MBP. A week later I saw the increasing likelihood of an update.

Returned the 2016 MBP the Thursday before WWDC, ordered the 2017 in my local Apple Store 30 min after the keynote through the business team (they offer a sizable loyalty discount) and have been waiting for my BTO model to get processed ever since. It's still not the machine I want due to lack of RAM, ports, and travel on the keyboard, but I need to move to desktop VR development ASAP and was very relieved to see Apple is slowly working toward legit VR support, especially for the MBP through eGPU.

Don't think so. I paid for next day shipping and it got pushed back, they took $$$ off the cost tho so im cool

I ordered base 15 space grey. UPS says I’ll have Friday. Apples shipping email says Monday. I’m in US. Currently in Japan

Anyone's 2017 BTO order ship yet?

I thought I was within the very first "batch" of orders, probably within the first hour of the site going live. However, when I checked my shipping date, it had already slipped to 4 to 6 business days. I'm not sure if it's because I chose a 1TB drive on the top end model or if it's because I didn't get my order within minutes of the store going live. I didn't think there was THAT much demand for this laptop model given the minimal changes.

Anyone else got a earlier shipping date on the 15", either cookie cutter or CTO?

What was your original delivery date and what did you spec it as?

I ordered within a few hours of the it being released to the website. Delivery date was initially 16th June I believe, now 14th June.

My order was 13" 3.1ghz / 512gb with 16gb upgrade.

Order went from processing to shipped within a few hours.

My iPad Pro 10.5 order is now due 16th June, whereas before I'm sure it's was the 14th June, they've swapped places.

Just moved into preparing for shipment. Placed order Tuesday morning, delivery still set for June 21.

Just ordered a SG 13" 3.3/16/256. Ships 3-5 days. Upgrading from a mid-2011 13" MBA. Upgraded shipping for $13 I think? Planned on a 15, but the price/performance/size seemed right especially for lots of airplane travel.

Looking forward to a new machine after YEARS with the trusty air. Only had to replace the ssd and battery once in it!

I had same order as yours. 13" 3.1ghz / 512gb with 16gb ram.
iPad pro space grey 10.5 256gb wifi. does it match ? hehe

Hopefully these build to orders are using the latest parts on the keyboards. If I get mine and there are problems with the keys like the 2016 model then back it goes. They have had plently of time to fix this. Mine is still processing delivery June 16th

Mine finally shipped but my store has some in Stock. But my  store is pretty much a bad omen so I guess it works out.

Ordered with upgrades yesterday, processor and SSD, so I'm not expecting anything until the 16th to the 20th. Still on the fence with the touch bar.

I ordered my 13" 3.1/8/256 after the keynote and it arrived yesterday. As of now, there are no problems with it at all.

The keyboard has new caps for the option and control key, and my touch bar seems to have better color on it.

Other than that I have yet to see a difference.
