iPhone X The "I will return my iPhone X" - Thread

I too am returning mine. I know I was aware of the aspect ratio weirdness ahead of time and I wanted to really like this phone but I just don’t. The only thing that pulled me away from the plus models was the oled and after 2 full days of use I just don’t see it as “that” much better. The Face ID works great for me and the gestures I had down in the first 30 minutes. No complaints there. For me it’s 100% the weird aspect ratio. As others have said watching videos on the plus is just a much better experience and it shouldn’t be considering this is oled. Filling the screen is neat but I hate cropped video. The notch is also not an issue for me, It disappeared pretty fast but yeah I’ll go get an 8 plus and hope for a x plus next year.

The deed is done. X was returned for the 8+. Oddly enough they've said they had a few come back already. Hopefully next year's will be undeniable!
 
I will not return mine. I ALREADY RETURNED IT!!!!! Back to my 7 Plus and could not be happier. Bring the X Plus and I will get it.

So what if the OP only had 1 day experience with it? It's not much different than it's predecessors. Same UI. Only thing physically different is the display, dimensions and an unproven Face ID. The X is not leaps and bounds better than the 7 or 8. It's the same 'ol same 'ol in a different body.

I’m returning mine. I feel cheated. The people I know who have Android have the same features, fast charging comes right in the box and the X is like $200 more. The Pixel 2 is just as good as a device in my opinion.

Anyone who's returned to ATT was their a restocking fee? Was it $35 I saw?
 
 
Anyone here returning it back to Tmobile online? I've waited well over a month to be refunded in the past on a returned phone.

I was told it would be $45 when I bought my Note 8 and Gear 3 at AT&T... each. But I love them so never had to take them up on it.

Yea matte black looks like the slate iPhone 5. Something you’d regret offloading over time :D

Not too shabby to have a backup device either

My SE came in handy for 2 days when I shatteeed my 7+ and before getting it repaired

Don’t know for some reason I like the 7 in the hand. Could there have been a way for Apple to take the 7 and make it edge to edge?
 
I am abroad at the moment but will defintely be picking up the 8+ when I get home to replace the X in day to day usage. If only Apple Watch was usable on Android I'd be taking the opportunity to try out something different for a year but as it is, have to stick with an iPhone
