I bought the Galaxy S3 last week rofl. Everything about the iPhone 5 has basically leaked. Plus, iOS is still stale and the screen is still small.

I'm not with you. I like the design, but more importantly to me, the operating system and it's available apps is what I like best and is what keeps me with Apple.

I picked up a galaxy note recently after 4 years with an iPhone. Going back to the iPhone after using the note seems like a huge backwards step. IOS is starting to looks and feel dated compared to ICS. All the apps I had on iPhone are there, the speed and screen are outstanding and I've had no hangs or crashes at all. Even with the huge screen the battery lasts almost twice as long as my 4s.

That's difference in the app store is the only thing that really worries me

I am wondering if all the people who said that the Galaxy phones felt 'cheap' for being so light will now think the same thing about the 20% lighter iPhone.

And also those who said the GS3 is too color saturated and not natural looking like the iPhone, but the iP5 is now 44% more color saturated.

Not true. Apple came out with the iPhone in 2007. So it's only been just over five years this past June I believe. Also the design, while boring now, is the second design the iPhone has seen.

IOS apps are 100X better than droid apps so I am switching back to Apple it's just a more polished operating system

Sorry the shiny icons don't count :D

No but really, Android apps are fine. Maybe not as many, but they work great for me. Also Android has widgets which are very handy, where iOS doesn't. I know iOS users will say they aren't needed, blah blah blah. It's nice to get quick info without having to click an icon...yeah yeah I know First World problems.

Well, the rumors were 100% spot on.

Unfortunately they were.

Almost every app I had on iPhone is available on android and the android play store is a better experience than the app store IMO. If apps are the only thing holding you back I wouldn't worry. You also get 15 mins to try an app, if it sucks just delete it and you get an instant refund.

Like most on here have noted, selection of apps is relative. Figure out what you want/need on iOS and go surf the Play store and do some comparisons for yourself.

The biggest gap comes in game/recreational app selection I think....and those arent that important to me.
