THIS. It really pisses me off that the entire communication system that is an iPhone becomes unusable till the voicemail activates. Why not just be able to have an incoming call show up as a notification while you continue to go about your business on the phone?
You do have the choice of stopping it by sending it to voicemail.

I would love the following in iOS 10

- Multitasking akin to iPad (Split Screen, and Picture in Picture) on iPhone 6s Plus and higher

-Multitasking Gestures for iPhones (2 finger swipe up to reveal multitasking and 2/3 finger scroll between apps)

- Dark Mode in iOS, for a dark UI theme all around

- An App Drawer (Possibly? But I can live without it)

- Social Widgets from OS X (that were present in iOS 6)

- New Dynamic Wallpapers in Settings

- 3D Touch controllable Control Center

The only thing I want is for the iOS grid system for apps to be overhauled or discarded altogether.

Organizing apps on home pages by purpose/type is tedious and, ultimately, pointless. The next time you install a new app, you're likely to have them all get bumped to the next page.

Muscle memory? Forget about it. Everything is in a different place in landscape or portrait orientation.

The grid system, by and large, hasn't changed since OS 1.0. Sure, they added multiple home screens, folders, and the ability to reorganize apps. But these are all responses to the inadequacy of the rigid app organization.

I just want to have a single place where I have all my magazines and news apps, one place for sys admin and monitoring tools, and the rest, and not have to constantly be futzing with it. Folders are okay, but things in folders tend to be lost to me.

- Adding notes or titles to photos, and thus adding searching through them
- Portrait Lock being ignored when in a video app
- 5 apps on one line on homescreen
- widgets return
- a way to always get full version of sites and not mobile (sorry I just can't stand mobile sites[and request desktop version almost never works])
- offline ability to use maps app or save maps for offline use
- Faster animations (yes they're slow)
- ability to use Touch ID to unlock and not require passcode/touch ID for timer
- Last but not least, no bugs.

You can use 3D touch to open the app switcher or swipe to the previously used app.

- Dynamic weather icon
- Stronger voicemail screen. Make the buttons easier to press!
- Better calendar app
- CUSTOMIZABLE CONTROL CENTER...PLEASE!!! (or just Vibrate on/off on Control Center)
- Hide stock icons but don't delete the apps

I'd like to see: when my screen is off and music is playing in my car, and the song changes, it comes up on the screen for 5 or so seconds so I can see what's on.

Also PIP apps

I hope in split view or slide over to have search for apps...now with more and more apps supporting slide or split view is harder to find the right app
The ability to use safari in 2 windows individualy

I would like Apple to get rid of today/notifications, and just give us a good unified notifications centre

More focus on performance than aesthetics, this is what iOS 9 was supposed to do and I guess it did work on some older devices by my iPhone 6 has its tantrums quite regularly.

Agreed. Performance performance performance. Make iOS as slick as slickiness can be!

I'd like to see the following:
-Deeper app linking so apps can share stuff to one another much easier
-Default apps
-FIX THE DAMN THIRD PARTY KEYBOARDS!!!!!!!!!!
-Give widgets on home screens if we want
-Allow us to put homescreen icons anywhere we want to put them
-Dark mode
-Support for using PS or Xbox controllers over an OTG cable
-Extreme battery saver mode
-Customisable control center
-Support mice/trackpads (More so for the iPad Pro than anything else)

So you want an Adroid OS? Don't get me wrong, those sound great an all, but it's like you writing a description of an android OS.

The thing I would love to see is a spotlight search in iOS and the ability to pick a wifi network, Bluetooth, etc. from control center by using 3d touch on the icons!

At least 2 users accounts like osx or windows
Somekind of file mangement
For iPad the ability to use 2 safari windows side by side in slide view
The ability to use search for app when you do slide over....more and more apps supports this and the list is getting longer and longer so its getting harder to find your second app

I want more features....how on earth does that mean its like Android?

As do many of us. You mentioned all features which currently exist on the android platform. I would like Apple to enhance the features it currently has and create NEW and innovative features to the OS. Not knocking you in the least, just stating that Apple would be better off putting more time and effort in coming up with new ideas rather than imitating junky, bloated android gimmicks. I do agree with you 100% on customizable control center. There is so much that can be done with it to make the end user experience more fluid and simple.

The following:

1) Currently double tapping on home button invokes reachability (on iPhone6 and later) and double pressing invokes app switcher. An option in the settings to invert this.
2) Mobile data toggle in control center.
3) Option to clear app caches.
4) Battery like settings screen to view RAM usage per app.
5) Ability to choose 3D touch options for apps. Currently everything is defaulted.
6) Better use of swiping right from home screen, which currently shows siri suggestions.
7) Option to always show a few more things like weather on lock screen.

Funny you should mention that, I had a nexus 4 before this iPhone 6 and miss Android now. I will buy an Andtoid phone when I can.

A Cell data management, yes like on Android.
+ to set a global max data cap at which point cell data will turn off
+ to set a warning level where user is notified and cell data temporarily turned off

This feature would be a universal shutoff valve, even system apps won't use cell data if limit is exceeded. You all know what I am talking about, those weird situations with iPod updating entire an entire library of played episodes, or wifi assist.

I don't have unlimited data, in fact only 2 GB and I use a combination of a 3rd party app to monitor my data as well as monitoring and selectively turning off apps that I don't want using cell data, ie App store, pod casts, itunes and some others.
