The iOS 10.x.x Beta Speculation Thread

Messages just got an overhaul. Fwiw, I use iMessage and whatsapp; whatsapp has come s long way but I like iMessage better.

I'm optimistic.

I think if Sonny had said, "10.3 will come out the 10th, assuming 10.2.1 comes out on the 9th" his sequence would have been correct, just the dates wrong.

I asked Federico Vittici about his tweet about 10.3 being imminent, and he said that it was coming, and it would have iPad features. I trust his little birdies.

I hope it has exciting stuff for iPhones too (for those of us without iPads).

Is this Vittici guy legit? Never heard of him

He's one of the well-known iPad Only guys (He got a review unit of the 12.9, and Phil Schiller has tweeted is articles). He said back after WWDC2016 that his sources told him there'd be an iPad-specific iOS 10 update early in 2017. He is sticking to his story.

As with all of these, huge grains of salt. But I trust him when he says there will be a 10.3 and it will feature the iPad. He's also not going down the "when will the beta come out?" road.

10.3 beta 1 will be the first iOS beta I've installed since the last 10.0 one woohooo!!!

no. there was nothing exciting in 10.1 or 10.2 that i wanted to preview ahead of final release.

i'm assuming 10.3 will have something a bit more interesting... don't let me down apple...

When iOS 10.3 beta 1 drops , it will start another speculation. Can you guess what we will speculate??
 
I don't want to get any hopes up if nothings gonna happen, but I've been monitoring the ping time of developer.apple.com and its usually 30ms. And now there is a lot of 130ms.... Maybe something is happening server side...
