You weren't kidding. Progress bar isn't moving at all.

Its not 'technically' the same. They removed the beta indicators, otherwise those on the beta wouldn't be able to install it, even if they removed the beta profile. The software itself is slightly different, the removal of the feedback app is evidence of that.
The betas were all slow to install as well. Also while on beta 7 it does not show that a new version is available via OTA or iTunes. Even though the build is slightly different.

If you remove the profile it does show OTA.

That's because the Beta Profile is still installed. Delete, restart, then check for update.

That's right! I forgot you were not on the train throughout. Nice benefit, huh?!?
Yep! Just got another 800MB on Air 2. Very pleased. Now I get to play around with the new software. If the file system wasn't being updated, I would have been on beta train. Just I keep losing my health and activity data due to freak bugs and I mentally can't start over again! I am back up to 170 day streak. Last time 10.1 killed it after 199 days. :( I've had my AW since release in 2015, but still can't get a 365 day streak because of stupid bugs and the fact that Apple refuses to separate data from the backup.

11.0 is going to be very painful for you, waiting as you will.

I didn't say that the code would be the same, but that the build number could be cut down and realeased to the public. It's actually not important at all but worth noticing for future reference. Are you on beta 7 receiving an update?

My simple question-should we expect any new fixes or features in the public 10.3 as compared to beta 7.

Not really. There may be features that were present in the betas, but not fully implemented (thinking primarily the SiriKit stuff).

Yeah that forced a full 1.87gb update. I wanted to use iTunes (ipsw file) since so many betas with deltas (even though OTA was a full install as well). Had to shift/update in iTunes because "you are up to date blah blah". Not that I was having any issues with beta 7 but...........

Maybe the iTunes isn't out yet? Usually comes out later in the day. Because when they released two versions of 9.2.1 and 10.1.1, iTunes forced the second one later on.

I so wouldn't have put money on release today. I thought the flurry of betas a week ago and quiet last week meant there was some issue they were sorting out and we'd see a beta this week.

I'm beginning to think that because 14E277 wasn't seeded to those with the profile installed is because a new beta is on its way. Whether its 10.3.1 or 10.4, something is probably coming. Another clue might be that B7 is still active if you install the beta profile.

Yep, I think 10.3.1 Beta will be available soon. I doubt that there will be 10.4.

Or that the beta version is seen as being the same as or perhaps even in a sense newer than (perhaps due to having an 'a' in it with an otherwise same build number prior to it) the public version.

Gotta get to 24 betas somehow eh? ;)
You know. I never claimed there will be. I said their could be based on the current rate that they were being released. The question was how many more builds/updates until iOS 11. And at the current rate 24 was a plausible number. I never said we will get that many.:p

Lol I know. But expect me to bring it up every so often until iOS 11, cos I'm a jerk :p
P.S. You can rub it in my face if there are suddenly loads of betas and we do actually reach 24.
