Its too hard to tell. It could be buggy. I remember last year people having issues with iOS 10 and watchOS 2.0. And then I believe it got to the point where the watch needed to be on 3.0 to work with iOS 10. Like you couldn't pair a 2.0 watch with iOS 10. I had issues with that.

Don't expect a redesign. The theme is every 3 years a small update, every 6 years a full redesign. We just got our update with iOS 10.
iOS 1-3
iOS 4-6
iOS 7-9
iOS 10-12
Next redesign (major overhaul) will be iOS 13.
I don't think that they're gonna follow this pattern. User needs are changing all the time and so do apps. One of the biggest problems that Apple has is the tend to stuck to the initial concept of the products. The concept of iOS might have been very good when it was released, but this was 10 years ago. Since then, a lot things have changed and we're really in a point where a major iOS redesign is needed. I doubt that they'll do that in iOS 11 or in near future at all, but they should do this. The same goes for macOS, as well. El Captain and Sierra were disappointing releases in every single way.
