Not directly. You will need to DFU restore to 10.3.2 and then update the OS to 10.3.3 beta2 and restore the backup you made from the 10.3.3 b2.

Remember to backup to iTunes on your computer with encrypted backup turned on and then archive it so any further backups with iOS11 won't overwrite that one.

It is possible, but as I mentioned, you need to manually edit the backup file in order to allow it to go form 10.3.3 to 10.3.2.

Is battery life better on 10.3.3? I've had shorter battery life on 10.3.2 for sure
Probably not being that it is such a small update. There could be other factors, such as a bad install with your version of 10.3.2, therefore 10.3.3 might "appear" to fix the issue you are experiencing. This late in the game, most the code is done and not much is being changed that would probably result in battery life being fixed, or even it taking a hit. Its probably just a case by case thing.

I don´t think it has something to do with a bad install. German online sources write about a weaker battery life, so he´s not alone. When my iPhone 6 lies near me and I don´t use it then I´m happy how long the battery lasts but when I use it... not really.

And those German online sources couldn't have bad installs either? I mean a bad install isn't really that uncommon, neither is a stuck rogue processor that you don't even know if rogue unless you are hooked up to Xcode. Thats the problem without an Activity Monitor, you can't tell if something is stuck.

Battery life could be as simple as a local cellular tower having issues and therefore the signal strength isn't as strong. There are literally hundreds of variables to battery life, a X.x.x update is usually the last to cause a change in battery life compared to all the variables because such little is being changed.

A bit OT but... I`m on the phone and want to interact with it and it happens that the display lights up but then it is dark again in under a second. On my Dads ip5 this does not happen. First Apple said that it has something to do with energy savings, then auto-Lock (1 minute on both phones). Then: Set it up again. Problem: I´ve forgotten the password of my encrypted backup. Last advice: Next iOS Update via cable. Any ideas? Thanks! PM would be ok.

It would be great if there were a simple way to check whether something went bad with the install or not.. I have Xcode but I'm not sure how to check the iOS version is functioning properly.

Someone at Apple once told me there was a way to reinstall a fresh version of iOS without interfering with the data on my phone. You don't happen to know what that is? Or the closest thing to it?

Plug in your device and open up instruments in Xcode. It shows what's running. Kind of like an activity monitor for Mac.

As to reinstalling a fresh copy without losing data, no. Haven't heard of it. I want to know too!
