Last year screwed us all up when they off cycle on I think b2.
What? It is not unheard of for Apple to run 3 week betas. Check iOS 7, iOS 8, iOS 10. I think even iOS 5/6 had 3 week cycles. But there is 100% not a chance we get beta 2 this week.

iOS 11 beta speculation should be in the thread for that. Ain't happening tomorrow, could happen next week (I consider anything past the 15th to be late month) but most likely week of 6/26. 10.3.3 likely tomorrow or Tuesday.

10.3.3 tonight! I can feel it in my bones...
[doublepost=1497276553][/doublepost]Are we thinking a 10.3.4 beta as well?

Well not sure I would say 100%. I suspect Apple doesn't even know with 100% certainty when they will release anything :)

My memory is a little vague, but I'm pretty sure every iOS b1 to b2 was 14 days -- give or take an extra day. While we have hit 3 week betas, last was the first year we hit 3 weeks that early. Most of the longer cycles were later in the period.

Its actually the opposite. The first few betas are longer, then they shorten up over time. Its only the final beta -> GM that is extremely long as they prepare the new devices. For the most part iOS 7-9 were 2 week betas, but iOS 4-6 had longer initial betas.

We can use any beta from 9.2.1 -> 10.3.2 as verification of that. First 2 betas are usually 2 weeks, then they go weekly.

But based on Apple's own words, beta 1 will most likely be 3 weeks. When they say Late June, they mean the last week.

Beta 2 this week, I am pretty certain it won't happen. Yes yes, just because it never happens doesn't mean it can't. But it won't. Apple is still a creature of habit. They are not releasing a X.0 build one week after the initial, especially with WWDC all last week.

Final iOS 10.3.3 release will probably be the same latest 10.3.3 beta I've been testing.
Probably, being its such a small update. It will technically have a different build number to clean up the beta numbers, but it will be almost the same.

So, the dot releases are different. What I was referring to is the .0 releases of major updates (i.e, the current 11.0). If you look at Thinkybits (http://www.thinkybits.com/blog/iOS-versions/), with a few rare exceptions the time between an x.0 b1 to b2 is 14 -15 days. There is one that went to 18 days (5.0). Last year we went to 22 and threw us all off :). Beta 4-5 is where it gets long.

Until last year, we could set our calendars that next Monday is b2. I'm not taking that bet and think it is possible we could see b2 on the 26th with the PB later that week.

Beta 4-5 is where it gets long.

Its the last beta that gets long, not Beta 4-5. There are plenty of examples on your chart that beta 4/5 are short because there are 6-7 betas for that build.

Guess tomorrow! that will be 2 weeks between B1 and B2 and either B3 or final whatever is next.
What?? Tomorrow is day 8..

We are talking about iOS 11.

Huh? You are talking about both. The last several posts were about 10.3.3.
The only 10.3.3 posts where whether the current beta version is the same as the final and if there will be anything after 10.3.3.

Everything else was iOS 11 related. I guess this is why we all voted for a new thread.

They usually go 5 betas. iOS 10 went 8. I think you and I are still talking about the same thing: past performance is not an indicator of what this release will be.

No. 10.3.3 will be the end unless a major emergency security fix.

iOS 10.3.3 (and all other platforms) should be available this week. Wouldn't be surprised if it is today...

Um not really :) And yes the 11.x speculation should be moved to that thread at this point. And OP should rename this one back to 10.x.x

I guess I just mistook the context of your post. Because we were talking about beta cycles for iOS 11, then you brought up beta cycles for 10.3.3, which wasn't being discussed. Sorry.

Correct. Im just using Apple's words to determine how this will play out this year. When Apple says the "late" of a month, its always the final week. Meaning beta 1 has to be 3 weeks.

Do you think that the delay in release of 10.3.3 is due to more bugs getting fixed or something else.
