Well this is the version that broke a lot of websites... Since the update there is complete silence from the dev.
Before that he was very active here... That's why I assume it's dead or almost dead... or on the verge to be sold :).
Anyway... perhaps the dev has some other problems in his real life he needs to take care off. In this case we wish him the best of luck and waiting for a new and better update on Purify.

don't know but I'm very tired to switch from an ad blocker to another ...

Broken websites are not the fault of the content blockers, the problem is amateur web coding. Some websites won't load anything until the ads are fetched. No ads, no website. If advertisements weren't such a high priority, we would have fewer broken websites.

On the other hand, I guess that's one way of fighting contact blockers.

How to solve the problem with a broken website:
Step 1: go elsewhere
Step 2: realize that life is too short to stress over it
Step 3: smile

Pointless review.. He supposedly ruled out over half the adblockers from even testing them to save time, but can't even give a breakdown of what they were and why he ruled them out, even though he freely admits that his top rated ones broke plenty of sites. Magic at least needs an explanation for exclusion.

Super stable and auto ruleupdate
First test on my iPad Air was a failure: same wrong behavior on the website I had issues with purify.
I reported the issue (every internal link opens up a blank page and you need to reload to see contents), now I'm waiting to see if the solve it.

Which site is that, if I may ask? I'm interested to experience it myself. Could just be an issue with the way the site is coded, as @ardchoille50 mentioned a few posts earlier.

More than amateur coding, it's becoming intentional practice to force ads. Even on laptop I am finding some websites (Forbes,....) which were working fine earlier don't load asking you to disable ad blockers.

Based on Purify's Twitter account, updates are still being pushed to the app on the backend.

Are there any ad blockers for Macs? Os there anything I can use on my MacBook's Safari?
