For Silentium, quite a few websites can't load for me in Singapore. White listed but with advance turn On for social media buttons.

Try 9to5toys.com. There's an ad similar to AdSense near the top but not removed by any of the content blockers that I've tried.

Edit: Never mind. I was still seeing the ad this morning using "Safari Blocker" but now it looks like it's gone. Not sure if I was seeing things or the filter has been updated.

Try timesofisrael.com too, I can't find a good blocker that blocks both the top and bottom ads

1Blocker has been working great for me. It even has a feature to remove the empty blocks that are left behind where ads should go. Since I'm also web developer I came up with some CSS for a few sites to clean them up.

9toMac's ads and general site are annoying so I came up with the CSS class and ID list if you guys want to use it:

.news-feed-header,.trending-wrapper,.slick-slide,.jp-relatedposts,.sharedaddy

Make sure you apply it to domains only. Works for 9toMac.com, 9to5Toys.com, and 9to5Google.com. I'll probably make more for other sites later. I like the idea of customizing sites. Are there any blockers that let you inject custom CSS for certain URL's? I'd like to set fonts and sizes for my favorite sites, colors, etc.

Which should i purchase purifiy or Silentium?

They are both good.

Right now Silentium has many more options and I've personally found the developer is more responsive to inquiries. They added a feature I requested. Supposedly Purify is releasing additional options in the future. Purify is $3.99. Silentium is $1.99. I have them both and I've been using Silentium.

You can't go wrong with either.

I have crystal will purify be that much of a upgrade or will Silentium be the better deal as of now ?
Well all I can say is I tried Silentium & Purify & my experience is way better. Purify blocks sponsored ads that Silentium doesn't block, it loads pages way faster & its worth the $3.99.

I was in the same boat with having Crystal first and can say for me, Purify is much faster and provides more controls on elements that can be blocked.

Can't speak on Silentium.

Silentium does block sponsored ads.

Any difference to pay the extra money for purify?

Honestly, I don't think so.

Silentium has more features and the developers actually respond to e-mails. They are both fast. I'm currently running the beta. One of the developers is active here. Send them a tweet on Twitter and see if they'll let you run the beta.

Thanks I will give it a try

The review for Blacklist has been posted. Please read the review carefully. Otherwise, you might be confused by the rating given in some of the categories.

I just read it and what a thoughtful review. If I were the developer, I would take that review in a positive way and improve my app. Well done!
