Well, there you have it. :)
It is supposed to say 2. Just leave the app open and wait. Also make sure that the app has background app refresh enabled, then it will be updated in the background by push notification.
Yep - just checked the in-app FAQ. BG refresh is enabled. Thanks!

can someone compare crystal to purify?
crystal is free for a limited time, purify is 3.99 on the app store. What are the differences?

Purify has more options (check screens attached bellow: left Purify, right Crystal).

Does Crystal work on iOS 9.0?

Does Crystal block ads in other browsers aswell? I use Chrome.

Im running Crystal. I love it, but I wish it would allow me to view Googles sponsored search ads. Those I dont really wanna kill. Some personalisation would be nice!

Yes; no. Other browsers have to support the new SafariWebView component (which pretty much turns them into Safari with a shell), which I’m sure no browser does yet and I would be surprised if Chrome would support it at all. SafariWebView is interesting for apps that want to present web content easily, but it’s not exactly something browser developers are interested in.

Has not refreshed - still says version 0.

EDIT - It may be that it wouldn't refresh over cellular. I got home from work (on LTE at work), killed and restarted the Crystal app and it refreshed right away. Odd.

Is mobile data enabled for the app? I’ve been testing this app for more than a week now and had no problems whatsoever. Surprised to hear this.

Under settings/crystal, cellular data was enabled by default on install. Has to be some odd cellular issue because it did work almost immediately once I got on wifi. Had to kill crystal and restart as I said though.

EDIT: also - Settings/Cellular/Use Cellular Data For/Crystal was enabled by default

Updated blocklist almost immediately after install on my iPad Air 2 on Wifi.
