iPhone (6s+)Odd, indeed. iPad or iPhone?
Tried to remove two addresses from the whitelist at once and it crashed. It didn't crash when I tried to remove three at once.

Firstly, thanks for being active here. It's much appreciated.Note: Purify 1.1 also introduces seamless iCloud sync of preferences and whitelist.
Another thing I've been meaning to ask: does Purify block embedded tweets by design? For instance, several articles on the MacRumors home page have embedded tweets, but with Purify enabled, all I see is the text from the tweet with the Twitter interface removed. Any way around this?
Thanks again for all of your hard work and dedication.
Makes sense. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing some option or workaround. Thanks!Sort of. Here goes the explanation:
Purify has "Ads and Tracking" blocking enabled by default. The issue is, Twitter's widget/embed JavaScript is served directly from Twitter, making it an easy exposure point for tracking.
I'm investigating a reasonable way to give users a choice about this.
Since your here Kat.cr still goes crazy sometimes with ads , I reported the site just nowSort of. Here goes the explanation:

When I click on a link on Kat it wants to take me to another site , you see the ad blocker trying to fight it but the ad wins sometimes
Are you affiliated with said app? Your post reads like a solicitation.Hey guys, Adblock Plus (ABP) is out with its own content blocker. Works excellently well so far. and it is free. Download this one and uninstall the rest. Enjoy!

A lot of people don't realize that the company that makes this app accepts money from advertisers in exchange for whitelisting their ads. This is a conflict of interest in my opinion. This is why some of us will never use that app.Genuinely curious: why is ABP an overriding choice? I mean, they haven't been completely committed to the implicit promise.
lol no, I tested all of these content blockers and bought most of them. right now I'm just using ABP. and am sure everybody will eventually do that. the whole idea of paying for a content blocker is nonsense. Are you affiliated with said app? Your post reads like a solicitation.

I don't think paying for an ad-blocker is "nonsense," especially if the app is updated regularly and the developer(s) are proactive and responsive to customer concerns and questions.lol no, I tested all of these content blockers and bought most of them. right now I'm just using ABP. and am sure everybody will eventually do that. the whole idea of paying for a content blocker is nonsense.
Chris,
Have you guys been able to figure out why Yahoo sponsored ads don't show on the iPhone 6, but show on the iPad Air?
I am still seeing sponsored ads on the iPad Air running iOS 9.1 PB 3.Yes. Looks like we were missing the iPad User Agent from the original test seed list. The new engine has caught and fixed this from reports we've received today.

Glad you found the problem. It is good to know a fix is in the pipeline.Sorry; I might've communicated poorly. The solution has been integrated to the master list, but it's not yet distributed to people running the app.
And this is one of the reasons I will gladly pay for an app.Glad you found the problem. It is good to know a fix is in the pipeline.
Thanks.
Exactly. Developers have to put food on the table like the rest of us. If they work hard to build a quality app that is backed up by quality customer service, I will gladly help bring income to their house by buying the app, helping to spread the word to others, and beta testing. And this is one of the reasons I will gladly pay for an app.
I am new to ad blocking on iOS but have just bought Purify, mainly due to the developer's willingness to participate in this thread. However, why am I still seeing the large Amazon ad just after the last post on a page on this site?
