Happens all the time when I go to Amazon too with Purify. Also, on other websites, I visit too. I have reported the issues a couple times, but nothing has been fixed yet. I ended up not using Purify anymore, until these issues are fixed. Rather have ads than have blank webpages come up

That's odd, why would it happen to some and not others? What are you searching for, when you put in the item you are searching are you also changing the drop down to a particular subject or are you leaving it as "All"? I just tried Amazon and searched for a music artist and left it as "All" and it brings up all that artist music CD's. So I'm not getting any blank pages on Amazon, ads are gone and works as it should with Purify Ad blocker.

Do I still need the native iOS Safari Pop Up Blocker turned on, if I use a content blocker?

My content blocker works only on wifi, so the native iOS Safari Pop Up Blocker helps when I'm on cellular where there's no wifi. I don't have any problems right now.

Been Choice: Block Ads Earn Rewards
That title tells me everything I need to know about their business model. In other words, "we spy on your web browsing and app usage, build a detailed profile about you, sell it to advertisers and data brokers, and all you can get in exchange are some crappy deals provided by the very same advertisers."

LOL, I got a mental picture of Google when I read this.

By the way, the reason these types of spyware apps offer rewards in exchange for behavioural data (instead of merely being able to access content for free, as is the norm on the web) is not just to entice more users, but primarily to be able to associate that data with real-world identity. In order to redeem collected points for rewards, you have to provide your real contact details. If you provide fake address, you won't be able to get your reward.
That's what makes this data so valuable to data brokers and so creepy.

I just saw that the real James Woods (actor) posted that he likes Purify on their Twitter feed.

I almost never endorse products, but the new ad blocker app for iPhone called PURIFY is a miracle. Destroys internet advertising greed.

Wow, that's cool!!
For me, this app has worked very well and I don't have the need to try out any others, it was worth the $1.99

Check this reviews thread by BGG:
https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/ios-9-content-blockers-mini-reviews.1918483/

As far as being fast/efficient, that varies depending on your location, ISP since sometimes people are reporting differing results.
Try Adblock Fast since its free and if you want more customization options, leading paid apps are: Purify, Adblock Multi, Silentium, AdMop, 1Blocker, Lionz, Adblocker for Safari.

Alot of people are ditching Crystal now lol. I just recently purchased Purify, it loads my webpages pretty quickly. I haven't noticed an increase in battery life though for Ad-heavy webpages, but I might notice it down the line.

The developer is really friendly and responds to most questions on Twitter as well.

Slated for the next version of Purify:
  • Separating the social and comment toggles
  • Cookie-warning blocking option (in consideration: this might be made to be part of the "Ads and Tracking" option instead of a separate one — doesn't seem like anyone wants to see those cookie warnings; thoughts/feedback?)
  • 3D Touch support
And the next major release (1.2), so far:
  • Intelligent visual rule creator — so you can visually choose things to block from a page you're browsing, and Purify will automatically create the appropriate rules for you
  • Instant block-list updates from the backend neural network to everyone running the app.

Purify 1.1.1 has been submitted for review to the App Store!

what is added/fixed in the new version? :)

Thanks
