I looked on my granddaughters 8+ / 14.2 last night and her Maps shows the same discrepancy.
Either way, I submitted an issue report using the Map and Satellite views.

Public transportation directions are now available in Austria, although I’m seeing reports on Reddit that there are some missing services outside of Vienna.

I gotta say I'm fairly disappointed that my winter trip isn't happening! My trip to Alaska last winter...didn't have the new maps since I wasn't in the testing pool. The summer trip was cancelled (thanks COVID) and now the winter one is cancelled (again...thanks, COVID). Here's hoping for better luck next year!
There have been construction-related removals of highway exit ramps, and additions of new ramps, in NYC lately. Most have been updated on the maps in near real time. I'm assuming someone from city government was in contact with the major map providers with this info.
I’m guessing, like Apple Maps, it will direct you to cross there for walking directions.
May seem like common sense at intersections like in your pics, but some cross in the middle of roads.
I’m trying to correct error for the town I live in and there is one shop they repeatedly place in the wrong location.

Has anyone's car play been crashing because of Apple Maps? I've been having an issue with freezing (Usually running Apple Maps and Music together) and I almost got into a little car accident over the weekend (hit a curb) because of it. I'm not sure this is what Apple had in mind when they talk about Safety.
I never got the "preview" of new maps in the UK or Canada, so I guess the testing period is only ever available to people who live within those countries. Makes sense.
hello, there are options (two sliders) in Map setting for “contribution to Map”, but I didn’t see where in the Map I could submit comment Rating and Photos.

I had it a bit during the betas and then strangely it happened to me once whilst out in the work van which has carplay. I had navigation running on Apple Maps with Waze on in the background for alerts, which i do a lot to be honest, and i looked at the screen and it was back at the CarPlay home page. Opened maps and it searched for directions and started navigating again.
That's normal during the testing phase. You may get it back again, or you may have to wait until the official rollout.

I have to admit, it looks good. But all of the extra detail is immediately lost when navigating somewhere. Then you get just the basic map.

I’m in the UK and I had the early Canada release. Lost it after a few days to a week and haven’t seen it since.
I'd have to try it to know for sure. Being able to see a more accurate representation of the intersection before turning could be useful.
