Gotcha. I’m thinking the midnight blue or new cosmos blue might look good on the silver plus. It rains so much here in Seattle is my only concern.

Have you considered RhinoShield’s PlayProof or SolidSuit?
[doublepost=1505623974][/doublepost]No I haven’t. I have the crash guard black bumper and like it but it makes the plus phone too wide. But it’s nice to have protection and still enjoy the nice phone.

I’m curious how the 7plus and 8 plus both fit as the 8 plus is thicker due to the glass. Especially the Apple cases which are already snug. I have a couple nice Evutec cases for my 7 plus that are also perfectly fitted. Not sure how they’ll fit the new dimensions.

True. I am a huge fan of Evutec. Solid protection with minimal bulk. Aesthetically pleasing too. Evutec or Apple cases.

Looks top notch, though I wouldn’t like having to mess around with the flap every time I wanted to use my phone.
I had the same worry when I bought it, but it really wasn't an issue - the flap fits tightly and securely and can fold behind the case when open to keep it out of the way.

I was also extremely pleased with the quality for the price. I love Spigen cases in general, and my flip case is a bit frayed on the edges after a year of daily use (including in and out of pockets), but it still works perfectly and looks good.

I always come back to the Apple silicone cases. Easy to grip, easy to clean. Does anyone know which colors are the “new” ones? The Ultra violet is pretty cool, but maybe a bit feminine. I liked the Pollen yellow, but apparently it’s not sold anymore.

I've always had thicker cases on my phones. This time I'm going a little thinner for my 8 Plus. I ordered the Apple silicone case in black and this one...

Since I've ordered an iPhone 8 (Space Gray 256 GB) to replace my iPhone 6 (Space Gray 64 GB), I am definitely getting a thicker, better quality case. With good reason: Apple switched back to a glass back, and that could make the phone more fragile.

The only cases I use these days are made by Evolutive Labs. Been using them for on 6s+, SE and my wife's 5s and their 12' drop protection is no gimmick.

I have two Rhinoshield Playproof cases coming for my 8+. One clear/black. One black.

I have dropped my 6s+ so many times, I have lost count. The case is is bit banged up now but the phone looks as good as the day I bought it 2 years ago.

Same experience with the Rhinoshield Playproof on my 6. Many drops but except for eventual cracks in the corners after 2 years, has held up like a champ. The button feedback was a bit too hard for my liking though.

But this time for my 8 I'm looking for something less stiff and slightly thinner, like the Spigen Ultra Hybrid clear back.

Don’t forget about ThanoTech.
