I wonder if the solid suits will fit considering how tight they were on the 7 plus
You know I wonder the same thing. I have one coming in from warranty since my last one broke so I am going to be interested to see how it fits as well. I'm also going to reach out to them via Twitter and see what they say.

I will have to check that one out. I always love when I get recommendations from other people because I try to keep up with the cases but I miss some from time to time. I'm about to actually order it and see how I like it. Silk has sent me a case or two in the past. Thanks I really appreciate it!

One thing I think I'm most excited about is I don't have to worry about applying a rear screen protector to protect the Apple logo since its a glass back now. Nothing was more aggravating than getting a scratch on that apple logo on the back. LOL
I've picked up 2 Apple leather cases and a Speck Presidio Grip. Gonna keep my K11 Bumper I have for the 7 Plus and probably going to look into a UAG case once the specific one I want is in stock along with something from Rhinoshield.
i have been watching the UAG plyo. Also interested to see if my Rhinoshield Solid Suit will fit. It is a very tight fitting case on the 7 plus, hoping the .2mm wont impact it.
I just got the dark olive today. It’s a very dark grey-green. Interesting color-very subtle.
I cannot find a case I want for the space grey 8+ I have coming Friday. I've had a 6 for three years now and I have had a Speck Candy Shell Grip on it the entire time and it's been a great case. White w/black rubber. White stayed perfectly clean, minor scratches are barely visible. Rubber stayed intact, and it being black, never got dirty. Easy to hold. It did get some cracks around the bottom port holes but never enough for any pieces to break off, and granted I did fiddle with it a lot and it's been three years....and they replaced the Candy Shell Grip with something else that doesn't look as nice.
I just cannot find a case that is comparable in grip + slim form factor + looks neat + also not too gendered either way (feel like so many cases I am seeing are very MANLY carbon fiber-y or pink...bleh). I am being picky but I also hate buying too many cases.

curious since the demensions are the same will manufactures just repackage old designs with 8/8+ on the packaging?

Has anybody used a custom snap case from redbubble?
I have a 6plus at the moment with a official apple case and I am planning to upgrade to a 8plus, do I keep to the official cases or get a snap one? Just wondering because im not sure if a plastic case would damage the phone, especially because of the glass back

Snap - going from a 3 yo 6 to a space grey 8+. Struggling to find something that’s going to keep it protected but isn’t too bulky. Happy to pay for a decent case but I’m not buying loads...
The case I had has protected the 6 perfectly for 3 years and cost maybe $30-35? Perfectly willing to pay that or slightly more if I can feel confident the case won't be junk. The 8+ will already be large, don't want like an Otterbox Defender on it making it a huge brick. I don't drop my phone all the time. I have never broken a phone (knocks on wood). I just can't find anything that looks kind of cool that has some decent grip.
Just bought this one... Spigen Neo Hybrid Herringbone. $16.99 on Amazon. Looks like it should have some nice grip to it, the back is rubber-ish and then there's the glossy black bumper that snaps over it. And now I'm done.

I'm coming from a wallet type case (much thicker - UAG Trooper on my 6 Plus), really going to miss it. Wanted to go with a slimmer case this time around. Still thought about a wallet case but what kills it for me is wireless charging, I want to charge wirelessly and I don't want to have to remove it from the case every time. Maybe once the novelty wears off I'll go back to my cables and a wallet case.
