I do not own iPhone 8, but have iPhone 7, they use the same size of case?

Mute switch cut out is slightly smaller on some cases, such as the leather apple case. I bought a case for the 7 Plus for my 8 Plus and it just annoyed me that I couldn't mute it without looking as it was so fiddly to do. That'll teach me to have some patience and wait for 8 Plus stock!

Does the Commuter for 7 plus/8 plus actually fit the 8 plus fine? I saw a pic on Amazon where someone cracked the case trying to get it on. I don’t care if the Apple logo is slightly off.

Just want buttons accessible and don’t want to crack the case trying to squeeze the phone in.

Thanks

I'm hoping to get some input for a new case....

I had the 7+/8+ version of the Spigen Thin Fit and use the QNMP plate in the case. In the past couple months, I've cracked two of them - guessing its because of the slight size difference in the 7 and 8. Spigen replaced the first one for free but I'm ready to look elsewhere.

The only QNMP 8+ case looks like it only comes in Rose Gold.

Any suggestions for a fairly minimalist case that I can insert the QNMP plate into? Thanks.

Managed to somehow get a piece of lint under my Benks edge to edge protector at the camera, couldn't get it out so ended up ordering a fresh one and decided to pick up a fresh Tozo/Peel case to go with it as the other one was getting a little loose. Managed to get another absolutely perfect screen protector install.

Still in total love with this combo and this phone, sorry for the super crappy iPad Air 2 pics:

Still loving the Caseology Apex 2.0 on my 8 Plus. Found an edge to edge screen protector that, while it provides complete coverage, I’m just not sure I’m wild about. I believe it’s actually designed for either the 6s Plus or the 7 Plus.

More reviewing time required.
Iphone 8 seriously slides on it's own.
I've honestly never considered purchasing a Iphone case until my 1st few days have passed with iPhone8.
Hope I can find a smart looking non intrusive lightweight case.
I shall return to page1 of this thread

Has anyone had bad experiences of specific cases which inadvertently scratch the phone whilst in the case? I had one for my iphone 6 which has a plastic shell and when bits get inside I think it has contributed to scratching all around the edges, meaning that it now looks rather worn and messy. Whilst it'll always be in the case so can't be seen anyway, I'd rather the thing that is supposed to be protecting it not scratching it up!

Can anyone recommend a good quality case for my 8plus

Just spent £39 on the apple silicone case but I am going to return it as frankly it is not worth the price and I want something better quality. Any suggestions?

How's the case?

Is it good quality?

I don't want a case that will fall off in 5 months

Just been on Amazon and their website and they don't seem to sell that particular anymore...only in red.

Is the Neo Hybrid range good?
It’s made in tpu and hard polycarbonate, and it has a really good grip.
I’d say yes, good quality shown so far since october 2017.

Sorry, I don’t know the neo hybrid model.

How's the case?

It's a great case, my fav out of my current 3 cases, other 2 being a wallet case also from Ryan London (my first wallet case ever so still getting used to it) and also the electric blue Apple leather case. The Ryan London shell case doesn't offer as much protection as the Apple one, and as a result it feels lighter and more comfortable (for me personally.)

I'll upload some pics of the aged case, but have my wallet one with me today.

So the Ryan London case is a good choice?

The silicone one is SO much better. Much grippier, and doesn’t wear out.
Mhm, depends on if you take the case off a lot, and how it is treated, but it will wear. The anodization layer will wear off and the case will become glossy. But it happens over a long period of time. So I wouldn’t worry too much. I have and have had the silicone case before and I love it, but Ive got a red and saddle brown leather case coming in tomorrow!

I like the quality, but it definitely doesn’t offer as much protection (or bulk) as the Apple ones. I also have an Apple one and once I dropped my phone and the case got 2 small dings in the back of it where the leather almost started to peel off.
Is this the Ryan case you're talking about?
