Anyone check out that new “Flash” color Apple Silicone Case? Perfect for summer months.
Today I went in Apple store here and checked it out. It looks pretty good. It’s not as bright as the picture shown on Apple website. But I think it’s easy to get dirty so I bought cosmos blue one instead.

I finally have some time to take a picture of this new case.

Got a Sahara case delivered today. Really impressed.

Comes with a thin glass screen protector. An applicator for the screen protector and a really snug clear TPU case. No lose fitting at all. And I love that it has precision cut out for the buttons and camera to minimise the chance of dust getting into the case. Super impressed for £13

iPhone 8 and iPhone 7 Case, SaharaCase Classic Protection Kit Bundle with [ZeroDamage Tempered Glass Screen Protector] Rugged and Slim - Rose Gold Clear https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01MTOIRES/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_7-umAbQD54EB7

Also got a presidio grip in blue for £10 on offer from amazon!

Oops i missed this thread. probably the best case I’ve ever had was a blue case for my iPhone 6 that i bought at the mall at a stand for $20. Probably was worth half of that but it was great. The back was hard plastic but the sides were this “gooey” “squishy” material that had small bumps for easy grip. The great thing is that it actually bounced when i dropped it and i dropped it many times. I’m not sure if there’s a name for this but I’m looking for a similar case for my 8+.

I don’t want an Otterbox but just something to protect the back with this material. I don’t like the hard cases and the all soft cases just don’t have a good feel to them. Any suggestions?

Yours looks darker. The one I saw in the Apple store yesterday was like traffic cone orange... and the new yellow looked like a highlighter
I guess the natural light wasn’t bright enough when I took that picture. I just received it today after ordering it on Apple website a week ago.

...whats that clear case thats on the table?!

Still in total love with my Peel case. No scuffs or marks, no lint inside it at all after like 6 or however many weeks, and plastic still nice and tight.

I have a skin on and then a case. For some reason I am worried the cases are going to leave a gash on the metal edges.

So I see a few of you were talking about the Magpul Field Case. It sadly doesn’t fit the 8+. I have used one since the 6S+. I just upgraded from my 7+ and switched to Verizon to a 8+. The case is just a tad bit too small!! I was super bummed. Does not fit right at all..
So I just purchased a Spigen Neo Hybrid Herringbone off Amazon.
Hopefully Magpul makes a 8/8+ compatible case!

That’s Spigen Ultra Hybrid [2nd Generation] case.

Do you have any problems with the two holes Spigen placed in the 2nd generation case? On Amazon some people complain that it causes dust to accumulate, but overall the case has gotten good reviews.

It does collect some dust in those holes. I have to take out the case and clean the back once in a while. Yeah, it’s a good case but I found myself cleaning the back too much because of the finger prints.

Is the case relatively protective? Spigen claims that case has drop protection similar to its other cases.
I would like a clear case with a bumper. I've seen a nice one from Tech21, but it's $40-50. I was hoping this would be a good alternative.

So I am having the hardest time picking out a case that I like since my 7 Plus Magpul Field case doesn’t fit. Too tight on the 8 Plus. Just bought a Spigen and I don’t like it either... can someone help me out with a case that actually fits the 8 Plus nice and is not too tight? Tempted to try out the Apple cases or some super thin cases. Much appreceiated.

Does anyone here have any experience with the Lifeproof Fre or Next? Does the Fre cause the rainbow effect one the screen?

I had the same issue with a number of third-party cases not quite fitting right on the 8 Plus. The best fit I’ve found so far is the Caudabe Synthesis. Perfect fit and decent drop protection in a minimal design. Of course, the Apple cases also fit well, but they leave the bottom exposed.

Ordered me another one as a backup in case something happens to this one.

So I have good question for everyone. I recently had insurance with square trade, and all sudden they “ mistake with my paperwork “ happen. I’ve had few replacements from Apple had really bad luck with my iPhone since launch. Problem was, all my stuff replacements etc were done over phone/ computer. I checked and somewhere latest update I’m missing huge chunk my emails and now I couldn’t provide it to them which resulted in me having my insurance canceled and now I’m insurance less on my phone. I’m looking for high level of protection. I have uag monarch but what scares me is it’s only drop rated at 4 feet. I’m 6 foot 3 so I’m worried one these times should I get shoved or trip on ice we’ll talking or something this will not be enough. I don’t need anything insane although might bring piece of mind. I currently have the Apple store Belkin glass installed. I was looking at rhino shield mod case to get the full bumper and back protection but heard horror stories about the customer service, horrible shipp8ng people waiting more then month, and bad fitting cases and buttons. The video reviews I’ve seen always end up being sponsored that have a positive review which makes me wonder if it’s good choice. The other one was the new impact case by catalyst. The twitter rep told me the 8/8plus ones started shipping yesterday they only had the iPhone X ones before. Buying clear case the like this with clear back worries me because I’ve heard of clear cases scratching insanely easy. Any help advice input would be appreciated. Sorry any typos etc not used typing such long post on my iPad thanks.

...well after using a Tech 21 folio case on my iPhone 8 Plus for just over a week (it has slots for 2 cards inside), I have now switched back to my official Apple Leather case (Cosmos Blue colour).

The Tech 21 case made my 8 Plus feel huge (I could barely get the phone into my front pocket when wearing denim jeans!!!) btu now going back to my Apple Leather case, makes it feel so slim again, and it fits in my pockets!!!
