Leather cases can stain or change colour from being wet, leather in general scratches and changes colours from hand sweet very easy

But I love my saddle brown leather case on my iPhone 7 plus

Does it ever get wet? The case that is.

Yeah I’ve got it on the Space grey 8+ as well, It is more grey but I think it goes well. They were out of stock when I picked my phone up on Friday they said in the store it was the most popular one so had to order it off the Apple website.

I have that and the black and it seems to look better and show less dust, dirt, grime than the black.

Still don't like the open bottom

Agreed 100%. Its weird because I can be extremely OCD about keeping my cases pristine, but when it comes to leather, I think it only gets better with age (assuming its a good quality case). If the leather begins peeling back from the case, then its obviously not what I'm looking for. Btu when the leather gets to be slightly distressed, it seems to add a bit of character.

So is it completely accepted that the 8+ dimensions are for practical purposes the same as the 7+ ?

I have my 7+ Apple cocoa case on my 8+ but it does seem to be just a hair off.

It's quite hard to capture the shade of Blue but it's a slightly Greenish colour and a bit lighter than it looks in these pics. I have put my Ocean Blue watch strap on it so that you can see it's quite a different colour. It's a very nice colour and looks great on the Silver iPhone.

I had a Taupe but swapped it for Saddle Brown. I did have a similar colour on my 6s and it does darken with use but I like the lived in look and it has a classic quality with the silver 8+

I picked up a black Apple leather case for my 8 Plus off Amazon with a £10 discount.

I also had black Apple leather cases on my 2 previous iPhones so it wasn't a risky decision.

This looks so so fantastic! I almost pulled the trigger on an apple leather case and it was the Cosmos Blue that I was looking at for my silver 8+. Ultimately went with a much cheaper tpu case. If I don't like it, I'll pick up that leather one. Thanks for posting photos!

Can you post a picture? I had the black leather on my iPhone 6 but can’t remember exactly if it was really black or had a brownish hue. I wanted to compare it to the Cosmic Blue

I received my Karapax Shield+. I must say, I’m very impressed. For $8 bucks, very high quality look and feel.

If you like the industrial type look, this might be one you consider. I’m super impressed with the buttons on this case. Super clicky and responsive. It’s like you’re using the phone’s buttons. The buttons appear cutout in a similar way as Mappul does their buttons. These Karapax buttons are some of the best I’ve ever used, if not the best.

I wouldn’t call this the grippiest case out there. There is grip on the sides, because it’s has matte type finish on the sides. The case pops in with a nice click and is tight. It’s a two-piece case, that looks very seamless. That is to say, you really can’t tell it’s a two-piece case (Polycarbonate/TPU). All cutouts are spot on.

It seems to me this case could take a substantial drop and your phone would be protected. The drop test video I posted earlier shows it can.

This is for my 7 Plus, but the case works with 8/8 Plus as well. Plenty of pics. Hope that helps.

Not sure I’d call it brownish but it’s not pitch black either.

I've always used the Apple leather cases on my phones, but just got the pink sand, silicone case for my new iPhone 8 in gold. Looks great, but I'm finding it slippery compared to the leather cases.
