My Rhinoshield Playproof is a tight fit, but slim and solid. Getting a Thanotech K11 bumper to see how lightweight I can get and still be reasonably protected.
This is my current case and one of my top favorites. The only other case I like better than this is the evolutive labs solid suit.
Can you get the solid suit to fit the 8 plus? My 7 plus playproof fits fine, but the solid suit seems to small. The solid suit fit the 7 plus much tighter than the playproof for me.
I dont' have the 8 yet, but it does fit very tight on the 7. Have you tried installing and it won't work? For my 7 + I always install volume side first, then top corner and last bottom corner.
mine fits, but it makes me a bit uncomfortable that it is so tight.
I am currently using the black/clear play proof. It fits great for me
I should be getting my warranty replacement here in a few days and I have heard from a few people that it fits too tight. I don't need to used it because with me doing case reviews, its so difficult to get that case on and off. Im still sticking with my Otterbox Symmetry right now.
I actually ordered the black and clear Playproof and im ready to get that in and review. I saw that it had the matte clear on the back and that really drew me to the case.
I really like the clear, its the only clear I would use. No finger prints, minimal scratching and as always the tight rhino shield fit. In that regard I am just like you...no sagging anywhere. Thats why was much as I like tech21, I can't do it
I asked my contact at RhinoShield about the SolidSuit--whether the 7 Plus SolidSuit would fit on the 8 Plus and was told that they don't recommend it, due to the super tight fit.
I'm also a huge fan of the PlayProof Clear--one of my absolutely favorite cases!
FYI, RhinoShield now has their new Mod case system on preorder--I've got some pre-release samples and will be publishing my review in a few days. Really impressed so far!

The mod system seems great. I would only be worried about how it will hold up if you snap pieces in and out every few days.
That would be my concern with the SS too. It was a really tight fit. Made me very uncomfortable.
kgenova, is the Mod less wider than the Crashguard? If so, a lot or just a little? Thanks a lot! (Please post some pictures or the review link for us)

Does the k11 interefere on the signal of the phone? Even in low signal areas? thanks a lot!
Has anyone tried the clear Otterbox Symmetry? I’m looking for clear case but not sure if it’s actually ‘clear’
Anyone still using Apple leather or silicone 7 plus cases on their 8 plus, and is the fit too snug?
I had the clear/Black Symmetry. It’s more frosted than clear and I found it to scratch way too easily.
I picked up the Symmetry for my 8 Plus yesterday, and it fits perfectly. It is definitely clear, not frosted.
Has anyone tried the Spigen Neo Hybrid Herringbone or Spigen Tough Armor for the iPhone 8? I've always used the Speck Candy Shell but am looking at trying something new. I've previously heard good things about Spigen but the few comments I've seen lately have been mixed about this brand.
I have my Loopy case from my 7+ and it fits my 8+ perfectly. The only thing is, I really want something different on my new phone, and I can't justify buying another case that is exactly the same when mine is in perfect condition.
