THE iPhone 8/8+ Case Thread

I'm loving this Olixar case on my iPhone 8 Plus! Thinking about looking at getting a heavy case though as I'm terrified of breaking yet another iPhone screen :/

I’m thinking of this one with all the good reviews. I too am concerned about breakage of a very expensive phone. Even though this one is made for the 6+/7+ it will work for the 8+

Very solid case with this one. I've got one in black and one in red (as shown). UAG CS is amazing as well. The UAG letters on the back of my black one came off and they let me do a warranty claim for it. I was only hoping for a spare set of letters that I could put back on. Definitely recommended for the case itself and any CS you may need.

Case looks pretty slick however can't help but feel that the back of that case, if its a hard clear plastic (which kinds looks like it is), is gonna be one hell of a fingerprint magnet......

I actually bought two of them on eBay for $6.99. It is a hardish type plastic, not sure about the fingerprint magnet part. I ended up not using them because I went with a bumper. Gave one to my daughter to use for her 7+. She seems to like it.

Magpul Field case is available now. Hopefully, this means the one for the X will be available by end of year.

Yeah, I took my dark Aubergine back too. It's almost too dark of a purple.

Technically the Magpul field case for the 7/7+is the same case for the 8/8+, so it’s been available.

I’m with you hoping the one for the X is available by the end of the year.

I'm wondering if I should hold off for cases specifically made for the 8+, especially since I want my cases to be fall-resistant and want the outer "edge" to be raised slightly over the screen in case it lands screen-down, if that makes sense.

Most of tech 21’s cases seem to suffer from that flimsy bottom section.

Two years later me I’ve still not found any cases that have the same grip as the speck cases. So ordered the presidio grip for my 8.
 
Anyone can recommend a clear case for my Space Gray iPhone 8+?
I'm looking for a case with a transparent back that is not too bulky and has drop protection and a good grip.
Currently I have a Spigen Ultra Hybrid 2 with a black frame, but its side bumper is a bit slippery...
 
I have the Spigen ultra hybrid 2, but decided to get the UAG instead for good impact protection, since I decided not to get any insurance from Apple or elsewhere. I have deep pockets for my clothing so the size and bulk doesn’t bother me.

No love for skins here? Having always put a case on my iPhones I've decided to go for a pair of Dbrand skins for my on-order 8+ 256GB so I can enjoy the form of the phone in my hands as well as create a nice colour combo (gold phone, black skins).

I bought the Spigen Neo Hybrid Herringbone and the ElementCase CFX before my 8 Plus came. Ended up liking the CFX so much the other one ended up in a drawer.

I saw the Facebook ads and thought it looked like good but that text next to the camera really ruins it for me. Blech.

I’ve got both the Caudabe Sheath and Caudabe Lucid Clear. Can’t decide which one to use. I’m partial to the Sheath because I’ve used it for so long, but I love the Lucid Clear because it’s totally transparent.

Could you please post some pictures of the Lucid Clear? I am considering getting it.
