I just activated my 3G account WITHOUT accessing my wifi. It was short and painless. Probably took 3-5 minutes total.

I thought Apple and AT&T came ot and said you wouldn't need WIFI to sign up. Was this in doubt?

...Speaking of which - in the iTunes sync selection on iMac, apple does p*ss poor job of letting you identify apps that are iPad only. So unless the developer/vendor identify it as the iPad version of the app in the name...can be hard to differentiate duplicates from your iPhone library.

It is here and syncing as we speak. Yep, one of those poor fools that bought iPad apps before arrival so setup of apps was just a matter of choosing the apps to sync...
